They came and got the murder cat / myLot

On Wednesday, a guy with a net came and got the mama cat that was attacking us when we tried to get anywhere near her, including with food. She hadn't settled down even after a whole week. Right now she's at Animal Outreach by herself, and hopefully she will calm down from her week long hissy fit. The kittens were quite mellow after she left. I've been bottle feeding them and teaching them how to eat solid food and use the litter box. There are two orange kittens and two torties, so two boys and two girls, right? Actually, the smaller orange kitten is a girl, which is somewhat rare, although not as rare as a male tortie. Here is a picture of how adorable they are.

Wonder what momma's deal was. Besides her little ones that are. Cuteness for sure. We found a tiny one in our back hedge once several years ago now. So young we had to feed it with a baby doll bottle every few hours.

@dawnald May be she is getting better. Orange cats are usually sweet, the orange cat of my neighbors is the most friendly cat I ever met.

It's a wonder the trauma didn't transmit itself to the kittens. I'm glad you were able to keep them although I feel a bit sorry for the mother cat. I wonder what her fate will be.
