My mother told me when she was at Walmart a few months back she was in the laundry aisle. A few months back my mother went to Walmart for groceries. In the laundry aisle was a man pouring detergent from one container into another. Bottles aren’t filled to the very tip top but they all contain the same amount. When this man poured more from one detergent into the one he was buying he is causing the person who buys that other container to get less detergent for their money. I did notice often dish soap bottles have all different levels in them and just assumed they got spilled. I only notice that because they are clear containers. I noticed this particularly the other day at the dollar general and picked one that didn’t look like it had been tampered with which is what my photo is of.

My oldest son is a manager for a Walmart store and you would not believe the things that happen in their stores.

@DianneN Yes it is all true And the employees are not suppose to chase a thief you are suppose to just let them go out the store.

I don't think this anything new, but something you've just now been made aware of. I've seen people not only tamper with boxes, but out right steel the product inside and leave the empty package in the store shelf.

Wow never heard of them doing that, but at least he was paying for it. Here they pick stuff up, walk out without paying, and I mean big stuff too, and no consequences as security are told not to follow them..crazy.

@RebeccasFarm yep I’ve heard in a store around here unless they steal enough to be over a certain cost they don’t go after them. They only want to get people they can make it a felony on. Weird but I guess the world is just to dangerous of a place anymore.

People are so self-involved nowadays. They seem to care little or not at all for others. If they aren't going to live harmoniously with others they need to go live in a cave.

@wolfgirl569 ahh so yes they are smarter how they designed them. You’d have to use the same amount of detergent for even small loads though.

@shaggin Yes they are. The small amounts are in bags with the rip off opener above the resealable zipper. The big containers usually have a seal

@TheHorse nothing it should all be the same. The difference is when someone opens one bottle and pours it into another bottle and fills it to the brim. Then the bottom that is poured from is much emptier than the rest.

@Tina30219 at a candy store I saw a woman just eating so many pieces as she went along and would then drop one in her bag after eating a bunch. She paid for very little in that bag compared to the amount she ate. I reported it and the cashier just said okay. I was disgusted the police weren’t called. That was along ago and times are even worse now and cashiers are scared and some arent allowed to call the police unless people have stolen over a certain amount they can be charged with a felony for

@sjvg1976 perfume for sure because people like to test the scent before buying it so if there isn’t a tester bottle people will grab any and spray it to smell it. I don’t though I worry about the scent in the aisle causing someone and allergy attack. A girl I went to school with had issues like that.. she said I never saw it.
