We can take 30°C

But not 52°C! I was shocked when I saw on the news that the heat index might reach 52°C tomorrow, March 14th. This is crazy. We are used to the heat, yes. Our school classrooms here especially for public schools don’t have air conditioning but students still go to school, yes. We can deal with the heat and still smile, yes. But 52°C is too much. I worry about my mom. She still runs errand despite her age and the heat would be torture to her. I worry about the farmers and their crops. This might make stuff even more expensive. I worry about many things! Arghhh! How hot is hot for you?

I live in Canada and I get uncomfortable when the temperature goes up to 28-30 . I would hate it in the 50’s - that is insane

I only experienced 52º C in the desert, it was TOO HOT but at least very dry. For me 30º C is already too hot.

@sol_cee - It is the California Desert that you have to cross if you want to drive from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. This is what we did.

30C is only 86F and that's a low-normal for us during the summer. 110F/43C is about the highs we had last summer when we were burning up.

That is super hot! We have had a couple insanely hot days like that during the pandemic . . . pretty close to that ! We have AC but don't use it - and people think we're weird. We try natural ways to cool us off. I know, lots of things to worry about these days!

@sol_cee That must've been a lot of rain if class was going to be cancelled! I use the forecast as a "maybe" guideline . . . but yah, for sure they're not always right .
