That is the question of the day.
Pertaining to my cup noodles pictured. I added two eggs before addign boiling water. Eggs certainly made the cup noodles more filling and more delicious. Not to mention that eggs are a good and affordable source of proteins.
So why am I still up at this ungodly hour (it is 2:00 in the mornign in Manila)?
Well, I finished my shift at 12midnight and figured I wanted to do some cleaning and tidying up here at my condominium unit. Got hungry so decided to have cup noodles.
So is this a late midnight snack or an early breakfast?
What say you myLot community?

My daughter mentioned eating her noodles like that. It looks so gross to me hopefully it doesn’t offend you as well eat different things and I’m sure plenty I eat would gross you out. I stopped eating meat and eggs when I was 7. It took me over 20 years to be able to bring myself to eat eggs. I can’t eat them though unless they are very well done.

I see what you mean. My mom needs her eggs well-done as well so she can eat it.

It's a late snack. You'll be hungry again by morning.
Have a good night.

When I do intermittent fasting my cut-off time for meals is 4:00pm the earliest and 6:00pm the latest.

I say you are on the odd side of the word. Some of my contact with Filipinos is at 6 PM my time, when I'm trying to resolve this issue or that. When I hear the rooster crowing in the background, while talking to Jane or Sara or Fred (common Filipino names, I know), I am reminded that we are about 12 hours apart.

Yes, the eggs are cooked along with the noodles because of the hot water.

Thanks for the idea. Definitely, it is one way to call it that.

For me it would be a late midnight snack that I would pay for in the morning, lol. Depending on your sleep habits it could be either. And eggs are definitely a breakfast food for most people. So, looks like you got both bases covered

It depends on whether or not you will eat again after you get up. Do they eggs fully cook with your cuppa noodles? I might give that a try. It looks like the yolk is not cooked but maybe you could close the lid and poach them.

The eggs are a bit runny which is fien by me for this particular dish. If it was sunny side up eggs, I want the egg fuly cooked.

The price of eggs has gone up so much (at least here in the US) that I'm not sure if they qualify as an "affordable source of protein" anymore! haha
My vote is to count that as a late night snack.

Eggs are more affordable compared to other sources of protein here in the Philippines.

Good point.
I usually spend an hour winding down. No mobile phones for me during this time. I just lay down and wait to drift to sleep.
