It was a rice omelette.

I started eating my omelette after 3 pm.
The technician (a young and nice one) came and went after explaining to me more things than what my brains could hold. But he gave me his name and his personal number so that I could call him if I had any trouble.
When those things happen I feel that I must have been born with a very kind fairy godmother at my side
All the remote control had was that the batteries had to be changed. Now I asked myself why didn´t the girl from the Call Center tell me to try replacing them?
She was not Peruvian. This Call Center is in Colombia, Moisés the thechnician told me.
I offered him if he wanted to share my lunch with me but he wouldn´t accept it. But he did accept a glass of bubbling water.
After he went away I made a wonderful rice omelette. I added cheese cut in smal dices and a tiny bit of diced bunch onions. Omelettes are just the best
I love eggs in every possible way

I'm glad things went well with the tech. And that he gave you his phone number...
(Now, you can tease Dixie that you have a young guy flirting with you and giving you his number...
I'm sure you can think of fun things to tell her.
)
I love onions, bell peppers and ground beef in an omelet. YUM!

I have never done it with meat. I´ll try it one of these days. Maybe I should tell Lili (not Dixie) about the flirting young man. Dixie would not understand

@marguicha If you put meat into an omelet, you have to cook it first or it will mess up the eggs.
Okay.

@Adie04 I beat the eggs with a fork, add a little leftover cooked rice, diced cheese (any kind will do) and a bit of diced bunch onions (if you don´t have them cut very thinly in small dices a bit of onion). Then to the skillet.

Glad it is all taken care of. Those call places sometimes do not know much of anything about the product and I think it is not right you should know about the product. I hope you enjoyed your omelette

Same with me. I love eggs in all possible way. Though I am a vegetarian by choice, I eat eggs.
He does seem like a helpful gentleman. Nice of you to offer him to share your lunch

He hadn´t had lunch yet and I´m sure he´ll end up buying the worst burger at a fast food place. I´m sorry that he did not accept my omelette. It was delicious.

@marguicha Hmm... He must be hesitant and feeling awkward to accept it. He did miss a great omelette.

I am glad for you that all is fixed.
I love omelets I should make them more often. My favorite is a vegetable omelet, chopped tomato, onion, maybe a broccoli floweret, a few slices of mushrooms. My preference for a bit of cheese on top is Swiss, not sure why but it just tastes good with the vegetables. Of course, the vegetables vary on what is in the refrigerator, but that's ok, because it doesn't get boring that way.

Omelettes for me are always a mystery as they much depend on what´s in the fridge

@MarieCoyle I´ll use some mushrooms I have in my fridge. I haven´t used them and they don´t last long.

They really do. Last week I didn't eat all of my salmon that I made for our dinner. I had a little chunk so I just put it away. The next morning I made an omelet and it was shredded and went in there. I was rather apprehensive about adding it, but it was really good.

The batteries would be the first thing I would have tried. I would have been so embarrassed a technician coming over something and it being just that.
I never thought to add rice to an omelette is that what you did rice, cheese, eggs, onion?

@shaggin The technician told me that all these big companies had their call centers where it was cheaper. So, the company where I (and most of the people I know) hire their cellphone plans, TV and internet has its call center somewhere in Colombia. And I can understand the Colombian accent of learned people but this was not the situation.

I did not think it was the batteries because I could turn on and off the TV with the remote. I´m not embarrased at calling because I pay every month an extra so that they help me with everything in TV, phone and internet. Most of the time it is their fault that something doesn´t work.
Check in this post for the recipe. I gave it to Adie.

Sounds like customer service wasn't very good. Glad you got it straightened out. Samsung has a remote now that is charged by the sun. No need for batteries.

@marguicha Sardines omelette is one of my favorites. I also make eggplant omelette and sometimes I put ground meat on it. You may also try crab omelette but it is very time consuming.

Yes. He even showed me that you can watch again something you lost during a week. He told me that my TV "did" a lot of things. And for free.
