Happy Tuesday Everyone! woke up to rain but now it looks like it's clearing up and I can see patches of blue in the sky.
I made a huge mess in my dining room. I have lots of yarn that I keep in large containers in my garage. It gets to a point where I don't even know what I have any more so I brought them all in and sorted all the skeins of yarn on my dining room table. Now I can organize it all into similar colors and put them back accordingly.
It definitely wasn't a project I had intended to start but I was looking to see if I had a specific yarn and you know, one thing leads to another.
Hopefully this will help when I'm looking for something and can go to the container that has similar colors.
My dream is to have a big craft room with enough bins to hold all my yarn. It probably would resemble an aisle in Hobby Lobby or Michaels
Since my first floor is open concept you can see the mess I made no matter if you're in the kitchen, living room or coming in the front door. Guess it's not something I can procrastinate finishing.
Half of me will be glad when it's done but the other half is sorry I started this mess.
Do you ever start a project and then be mad at yourself when you have to finish it?

I do start a lot of things and leave them unfinished but that is mostly online.
If I can't get something done around here in the actual place I live, it is because someone is in my way
Maybe your son can build you a craft room

Oh how I wish my son could build me a craft room. The only way that could possibly work is if he finished the basement
maybe I could sneak that onto my "to do" list that I always have for him

I can imagine your mess, as we did the same with books. We wanted to place the books more interesting on lower shelves, donate those we do not like, place the less interesting on the upper shelves. Now all the books are on the floor and my husband is not in the mood to help.

@Marilynda1225 - I am ignoring the books on the floor, I closed the door to that room and I have no intention to do this myself, my husband started, he has to help me.

Yup that's exactly what I did with my yarn. I found yarn I didn't even know I had but now that it's all a mess I really dont feel like putting it all back but I have to. So, I'm still sitting here on the computer ignoring the mess I made

I'm sure that happens to all of us. The hard part is when you later remember other things that also need your attention.
I've things I was hoping to also work on this week is get things for giveaway closer to being ready. I have too much of that waiting in a corner of my living room.

I've been working on getting stuff ready for donation but as much as I donate there always seems to be more that needs giving away.
Hope you're enjoying your vacation this week and do fun things as well as projects

@Marilynda1225 I think my fun things I'm doing is mostly playing my games on my phone and maybe watching a few shows.
I've also been going to my sister's weekly to work on a puzzle with her.

Glad you can see the blue skies. Woke up to 40s here and only in the 50s for the high, we might reach 60. Spring is taking its time. A few warm days then back to cool. My projects lately are donating clothes and items. Seems it is never ending.

We sent off a few boxes for donation yesterday but there's still so much more we can get rid of. Honestly I don't know where all the stuff comes from

It's always a sense of accomplishment when I finish a project. Sadly as I finish one project there always seems to be another one waiting to tackle

Yes... I cleaned part of the kitchen last night but need to go in and finish it or I'll see it every time I go in there for something to eat or drink... I really didn't have time to do it last night and don't want to do it now.
Good luck getting your mess cleaned up. I know I'll get mine done sometime... just not looking forward to it.

Best of luck to you in sorting out all the stuff. The project waiting for me is cleaning up old papers and stuff but every time I try to get to it the cats dump everything on the floor and I pay more attention to my PC again and everything remains a mess, I will try to do something about it at the end to this week,

When I lived at home I used to clean out my dresser drawers and closet occasionally. I'd pull everything out and then get tired and regret that I started the whole project.

It was a clear morning. But as I write this, the dark clouds and drizzle are here.
Yesterday, we sat down to sort the yarns. My younger daughter is totally into crochet and she wanted to do few stuffed toys in this vacation. We sorted everything out and packed them according to colors. We don't have so much like you have, but still it took us more than an hour to sort and arrange.

I organised all the bits and pieces of information that I'd picked up in our various travels. I have folders for various countries and folders for various parts of WA (West Australia). I've left the WA ones on the table for the house-swap people. Perhaps they'll enjoy looking through them.
