Well, yes, really.
My neighbor likes Roscoe and ever since I brought Roscoe home he has given Roscoe a cookie every time he'd see him, it's part of the reason Roscoe would dig under the fence to visit with his dogs.
I usually open the back door for Tuffy to have some fun on the screened in porch, he likes to watch the birds as well as me and Roscoe whenever we're walking around out back.
So a few weeks ago I had tethered Rosoce to my waist so I could do some yard work so I figured why not tether him again so I could get a video of Tuffy, it almost worked.
As I was videoing Tuffy my neighbor came outside and guess who lunged towards the fence to get a cookie ..... still guessing
Yeah, Roscoe lunged and I fell, I was so shocked because I was having a great time videoing Tuffy.
Well, folks, here's a video of this stupid humans trick....................

@rebelann Oh the cookies . . . them tasty treats will make them go coo coo for cocoa puffs. He definitely associates your neighbor with "cookies".
Can you imagine a hunk of a medic coming to your rescue
. . . people need sweet treats every now and then too

He sure did. My neighbor is actually to blame because ever since I brought Roscoe home he's been enticing him with 'cookies' and now every time Roscoe sees him he thinks he's supposed to get a cookie and he rushes to the fence even with me attached to his lead. Cheeeze, what a hard lesson for me to learn, eh?
My pride is very wounded so I thought about calling an ambulance .... I wondered if maybe one of em would be a cutie .... then I thought better of it, how would they react to me if I told them my pride was wounded

Thanks.
You'd think I'd known better. He broke the clasp on one leash a while back.
I'm afraid to say too much because my neighbors don't speak a lot of English. They're really nice people but he's from Guadalajara and she's from Juarez ..... it's so frustrating when there's both a language and cultural difference.

No, I wasn't hurt .... well, my pride maybe .... just ticked off that my neighbor didn't have the good sense not to give MY dog treats every day, all puppies will run to the person it thinks will give it food. I was actually quite stupid to have tied his lead to my waist, when he lunged at the fence it threw me off balance.
Thanks for the
, back atcha.

@rebelann I'm glad you weren't physically hurt. (I would have asked the neighbor not to feed my dog as that makes them harder to train. But hindsight is always 20/20.)
I learned not to tie a dog to a doorknob or to a not-quite-heavy-enough piece of outdoor furniture, too. There are several YT videos where doorknobs get ripped off/out of doors and outdoor furniture goes shooting across the yard with an enthusiastic dog running after something.

Oh my goodness. It does not sound very safe for you as you never know when that neighbor will show up.

You're right and now I've learned to really watch what is going on next door when I'm walking Roscoe plus my neighbor seems a little shook up too and told me he won't give Roscoe anymore cookies, I wish he'd thought of that when Roscoe was tiny.

I was wondering about Roscoe doing that and what would happen to you. Take care

Thank you, I am fine. Lucky for me there are very few hard surfaces in my yard.

Thank you. Yes, I am fine. I am back to my old self again and doing a lot of yard work now.
Roscoe knew he had done something wrong but mostly I blame my neighbor, he's been feeding Roscoe dog biscuits every time he's seen him from the time Roscoe was 4 months old and never once did that man ask my permission.
