Hubs went to Walmart and bought two new hoses but vegetated and fell asleep and never watered the plants. :-( Today is his appointment at the Pain Management doctor's office. This is a follow-up to his outpatient surgery and should be interesting.
Breakfast - Oat biscuits
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Turkey and Swiss on rye bread, cucumber and ONION salad (didn't eat this), pineapple. There was sauerkraut to make a Reuben; but I just had it with Thousand Island dressing.
Dessert/Snack - Donut and decaf coffee
Dinner - Oat biscuits
What did you eat yesterday?
Photo Credit - Mine - A dolphin mailbox. One of the cool mailboxes in Key West, Florida. I would want a manatee mailbox. Below is a picture of a manatee mailbox.

@1creekgirl Oh no! That's horrible. I'm glad you are in the hospital and under a doctor's care. I hope you get better and can come home soon.

I love that dolphin mailbox, I hope your hubby had a good checkup and that all is healing well, I had some garlic toast, I am starting to wonder if the SS people have forgotten me this month. It seems to be taking a long time in coming. Guess I just have to be patient,

@LindaOHio SIGH you see from what I understood after my interview and the letter that came unless I am taking prescriptions for some disease, if I need help to get through my days etc I am worthy of help from the government, But if I do not take medicine, have no health complaints etc for all they care I can got dancing down the street. Personally, I will take my health and do just that and I thank the Lord every day for that. About SS I would get it some days early than I am supposed to so tomorrow it should have popped in if not then officially I am due on Wednesday which is the second Wednesday of the month, I think in a way they are playing with my brain,

@RasmaSandra What about all these people that get food stamps, rent assistance, utility payments....I know that these people are all not on medications or need physical assistance. You've got a long way to go until Wednesday. I hope you can make it that far. I asked you this on another post -- are you within walking distance of a Walmart?

A flamingo mailbox would be cool too. I love flamingos. They have tons of different ones.

I hope the follow-up appointment will bring good news. What was in the onion salad aside from onions?

@LindaOHio I like that. I’d add tomatoes to it.

@LindaOHio more steroids can’t be good. I wonder if there are any natural pain remedies out there.

What is onion salad? I've never heard of that before... I like onions so might try it.
I couldn't see well enough to go out and start mowing the yard today. *shrug* It might storm today so we'll see.
I have two doctor appointments today. One this morning and one in the afternoon. Both in Springfield. I don't want to drive two hour and then turn around and drive two hours again so I may see if I can fall asleep in the second doctor's office waiting room.
I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast, a plain ham sandwich with mayo on it for lunch and wasn't hungry last night. (I am eating some chicken nuggets with ketchup and mayo right now, though.)
I hope everything goes smoothly at your hubby's doctor appointment. Have a good day.

Thanks. The salad had cucumbers, onions and maybe some peppers. I barely looked at it. I hope your sight improves by the time you have to go to your doctors' appointments. It's a shame that your doctors are so far away. I hope it goes well for you.

@LindaOHio I would eat all those but usually not together.
Thanks. I'm seeing well enough to drive I think.
Thank you. The allergy doctor has agreed that I can start giving myself the allergy shot once a month. They just have to train me how to do it. (I can't imagine it's any more difficult than giving myself an epi-pen shot when I need one but we'll find out.) That would get rid of one long drive each month.
