Happy Father's Day to the dads out there with kids and/or fur babies.
We had a KFC coupon for chicken; so we had KFC for lunch yesterday.
We are again in a dry spell. No rain in the foreseeable future. Our weeds keep growing though.
Breakfast - None
Lunch - KFC chicken, biscuits and honey, mashed potatoes, corn, coleslaw, mac and cheese (I will eat the mac and cheese as a meal today)
Dessert/Snack - Triple chocolate muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - Leftover chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and one cheddar stuffed mushroom from Longhorn Steakhouse

Biscuits and honey, yum. 
My dad just opted for pizza yesterday when my sister and her family came down to celebrate Father’s Day. So I had that, popcorn, and salmon, carrots, and those long green beans, which always taste better to me than others.

@LindaOHio It's hotter in the UK than in the rest of Europe, but today the heat wave moves down to the rest of Europe. We are fine for the moment.

@LadyDuck The southern portion of the US has been hit with really bad storms and tornadoes for quite some time now; and it doesn't seem to want to stop.

The people in the UK are melting because it's so hot. Our south is hot too. We are quite comfortable here in NE Ohio.

Pretty decided she didn't want to go shopping today and wants to go tomorrow instead. She thinks fewer people will be shopping tomorrow morning...
It started storming around midnight and is still raining now. I'd really rather not drive in the rain if I don't have to.
I had a cheese sandwich for breakfast yesterday, had the rest of the scrambled eggs with potatoes and onions for lunch yesterday and had three boiled eggs for supper last night.

My mom told me what she sprayed on the weeds in her back yard made them dry out. Perhaps they won't grow anymore. Or at least for a while.

Our housekeeper needs to go out there with a trowel and get the roots out. She will be coming on Monday.

I had simple lentil soup with cucumber and lettuce salad today. All the travel and celebrations in the last week had me go off my diet track and my sugars were bad. I need to bring them back to normal.
However, I made chicken biryani for my family for Sunday lunch. My elder daughter is here for a month from her college and she has a long list of cravings that she has.

@LindaOHio We generally have lentil soup( daal) with rice for lunch on most days. It's like our staple food. She is here for a month. Already a week has gone. I want this one month to go slow. We won't see her till Christmas.

I didn't have lunch yesterday. I went to fastfood for dinner. I had chicken spaghetti meal.

My usual pork patties, seasoned fries, and gravy but more and more I am having the pork patties with cottage cheese scoops because of the heat here.
