6/23/23 - Meals & Update

Really running behind today. I should be done here already; and I'm just getting started.
Did two focus group studies and got paid for both this week. That money will go toward dinners out.
Nothing much going on today or this whole weekend. We managed to get a little bit more rain. I'm hoping for more tomorrow.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Tuna salad, coleslaw, bean salad, tropical fruit
Dinner - Chicken tenders and bean salad
What did you eat yesterday?

I had chicken taco salad for lunch, but only ate half of it. I had the other half for dinner, along with some “fried” (prepared in an electric skillet but with no grease) potatoes and yogurt. (Not together.)
Love glass-bottom boats. You got a better photo than the ones I was able to get of the manatee at Silver Springs.

The big, long one is a barracuda; and I think the others are yellow tails.

@LindaOHio I've never seen a barracuda but I've heard a lot about it. My cousin used to go fishing with his father and he used to mention Barracuda lots of times.
Must have been a great feeling seeing marine life.

Sounds like a busy time with those focus group things...but that is good to do those to make some $$

@LindaOHio Honey BBQ is too spicy? Sorry to hear that. That's what DQ's BBQ is I think..

@MommyOfEli2013 I don't know what brand it is; but it's way too spicy. I'm sure DQ's is different.

I seem to lose track of meals right now. Had a freezer dinner "General Chang's Chicken" it was a bit too spicy for me. Also had some stir fried rice.

Yeah, a lot of times those frozen Chinese dinners are spicy. I like to order orange chicken, mild, from our local take-out restaurant.

I know how it is to be behind. What goes into the group studies? I've had the opportunity to do some but didn't really understand what they were.

With one they talked to me for less than an hour about one of my ailments. With the other one I had to download some software that monitored the health websites that I visited.

It is a nice change to see a photo of water with live fish in it and not what the news has covered this week.
I will be glad when something else comes along and they stop pounding on the sub story.
It is too sad to dwell on as the news seems to be doing.
