We are supposed to get some storms this afternoon; so maybe we will finally get some soaking rain.
For those of you that asked, hubs is still in pain...not from the surgery...it's the same pain that he had before the surgery. The surgery didn't help.
No real plans for today. How about you?

Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Chicken/broccoli/rice soup, tropical fruit
Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - Roast beef and Swiss on a bagel

Your poor husband. What was his original injury? I’ve already learned from his experience not to do the spine scraping procedure. You both must be so weary of this.
I had salmon, carrots, and green beans, plus popcorn, strawberries, carrots, pickles, and a pear.

He has arthritis along his spine as do I. He says he won't have that surgery again.

So sorry hubs isn't better by now. I know it's discouraging.
We're on our way to a friend's church. Haven't been able to go in a long time, so we're looking forward to it.

@LindaOHio It was a good service and the people there are so kind. They're the ones who brought meals four days in a row and did other things, too. "Our" church (not Siloam that burned and we went to for so many years) hasn't done a thing when we needed them most. The people from Siloam have been very caring and cooked meals for us.

Sound like nice meal plans.
Did your husband and you go for a second doctor's opinion?
May be you can try going for an alternative therapy than Allopathic medicines?

Yes, we've both been to more than one doctor. I tried PT. It made it worse.

@LindaOHio As well as shoulder surgery, it can go wrong and it's worse than before.

@LadyDuck I need surgery (I think) in both shoulders; but I would NEVER get them operated on.

We had one really good storm yesterday afternoon/evening and then the sun came back out. We might get more storms this afternoon. I'll go out and see if the grass dried enough for me to mow this afternoon. There's still one section and maybe a little more left before the yard is finished again.
We have no plans for today, otherwise. I hope you and your hubby have a good day.

@LindaOHio You're welcome.
We got a storm yesterday when there was only a 20% chance. Today there was a 30% chance of rain and that disappeared totally.
I need to check the yard after while and see if the grass is dry enough to mow... But may wait until around 7 pm to do the mowing when it's starting to cool down outside.

@DaddyEvil The storms were in Ohio; but they broke up and went north and missed us. I hope we get some rain later on.

Not sure what I ate yesterday. I am sorry your hubby is in pain. My brother just got injections in his lower back for pain. They say his neck is in worse shape than his back. He has had two neck surgeries and will have a third one in August. I hope you got your rain.

Nope. No rain. My husband worked in a salt mine and had salt and rock fall on his head. His neck is in bad shape; but I don't think he would ever have surgery after the back fiasco.

That sunset looks mystical. I'm so sorry about your hubby. Yesterday I made pizza dough and covered it with Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, sweet peppers, mushrooms and Greek olives. And fresh dill. Housekeeper lady was over as I was making the pizza. She didn't know what dill was! Then she said she didn't like dill pickles. Amazing.

We had some storms headed our way; but they broke up; and we didn't get a drop of rain. We really needed rain.
