And I can see the sky. We don't have any smoke alerts today. That is very nice. Was tired of seeing a white haze everywhere.
Hubby is thinking about trying to mow today. He said he might do part of it and then take a break. I know he has missed taking care of it himself. I will be keeping an eye on him.
I don't have much to do myself. Get the dishes done and maybe clean some. Hope you have a good day.

We haven't had any fires near us so far. Sorry, you have had the smoke.
The early part of the day could be okay temp-wise for such an endeavor. Hope he is okay out there in the heat.

It must be good to see the sun. I haven't noticed the smoke too much here except maybe a couple of weeks ago. The day that I went to the mountains it was really smoky and hazy that day. The Blue Ridge mountains normally hazy were almost hidden.

It has felt like a really long day here. We had errands to do this morning with one a very important (to me) errand. After waiting two hours for our turn, Pretty started insisting we leave... It was disturbing other people around us so we left. I will have to go back without her. She isn't the one the errand involves so I don't know why she insisted on going with me. (I think she just wanted out of the house for a while but got too bored to wait any longer. 
)
I have an early morning doctor appointment in Springfield at 7 am in the morning. It's doctor ordered or I'd refuse to go.

@wolfgirl569 My Snap benefits got cancelled. Pretty doesn't care because she still gets hers. The Post Office sent the letter for renewal to my brother's house instead of mine. By the time my brother brought it to me, it was too late. *sigh*
It's the allergist that keeps putting up roadblocks and making me jump through hoops.
Uh oh! I hope things are okay now.

If mowing happens it will be me. The back really needs it. It is damp out. Wednesday it was overcast all day but did not rain. It is 5:30 a.m. and I can see some dampness on the top of the water meter cover.
