The Best BLT in the Whole World

Well, maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration.
After all, I haven't much to compare it to. The BLT I had for supper tonight may have been my first ever.
Zack bought BLTs for K, himself, and me at this place near where he's currently staying while waiting to get confirmation of his job in DC. He told us they would be the best BLTs we'd ever had.
I cannot say he was wrong. As it was probably my first one, it would be the best one I'd ever had. On the flip side, it was also the worst one I've had.
In truth, it was very good. I may have discovered I like BLTs.
How about you? Do you like BLTs?

@BACONSTRIPSXXX The fact is that I am not a fan of bacon and lettuce gives me stomach problems.

I really don't like lettuce and prefer not to have it on sandwiches or burgers. If it's already there before I can say I don't want it, then I'll eat it and won't complain but I won't add lettuce to anything if we're at home.
I definitely like bacon and tomato sandwiches as long as the tomatoes are home-grown.

@DaddyEvil This year, for the first time in years, we didn't plant a garden. With so much time spent away camping each month, a garden wouldn't have faired well.

@DWDavis I've always loved home-grown tomatoes. I want them fresh off the vine and still warm from the sun. I usually have a couple of cherry tomato plants in our flowerbed but Pretty said no this year. I get dizzy easily and she's afraid I'll try to work with the plants, get dizzy and break a bone if I fall.
I won't eat tomatoes from the store. Those always taste like cardboard.

I’m allergic to pork, and I’ve been told that turkey bacon doesn’t count. But I like tomato sandwiches!!!

@DaddyEvil — I personally think so; however, there’s a certain cat slave from the land of the albino squirrels who would argue that point….maybe to the point of violence.

@FourWalls Maybe that person doesn't know how delicious turkey bacon actually is... And without getting popped with hot grease while cooking it, too.

I have not had one in ages. If I do buy any sandwiches now they are usually Italian subs,
