Biscuits with the boss

We have a new principal, and she has had everybody sign up for a session of "biscuits with the boss" which she says is from Ted Lasso.
My teammates had slots yesterday. Mine will be today at 9 when I am back from the bus.
I know she just wants to get to know us, but, it makes me feel a little cringey.
Wish me luck. It is just 15 minutes.

In our school the administration makes a huge effort to be visible and helpful. She wants to know what we do and why.

I had the day wrong. Not a Thursday meeting, but a Friday meeting, so it is in a few hours. I will post about it.

No, she is just borrowing the phrase. My one team mate got interrupted by someone from another building wanting to visit with the boss.
