The list of movies is endless and the number of genres is many.
One of my all-time favorites is Best in Show which is one of Christopher Guest's creations. I also enjoy John Hughe's movies such as Sixteen Candles, National Lampoon's Vacation and Christmas Vacation, Ferris Buellers's Day Off and The Breakfast Club. I find myself watching Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? and A Patch of Blue, both of which star Sidney Poitier, any time they are on TV. Oh! And Driving Miss Daisy is another good one...and the Austin Powers movies.
I get a real kick out of tongue-in-cheek movies such as Sharknado; and I enjoy really bad 50's sci-fi movies, movies based on a true story, and more.
What about you? What is/are your favorite movie/s?

Movies I can watch over and over again include Fried Green Tomato's, Driving Ms. Daisy and older Charlie Chan series and Sherlock Holmes movies.
Seasonal movies always include It's A Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol. A Christmas Story, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
I like the Star Trek movies, only the first two Star Wars movies.

I am a big fan of the original Rocky and also Rudy..both sports movies, and The Omen with the late, great Gregory Peck.

@LindaOHio It is .the original was super scary. I saw it in the theater .and walking out into a sunny day .was like a vague unreality .I felt like I was still in the movie

@LindaOHio I liked the character in the movies since I did see both the Spanish speaking version in Panama and the English speaking version on Me Television.

The Sharknado movies are really campy and have lots of cameo appearances.

Best in Show is a mockumentary about dog shows. It's very funny; and I've seen it so many times.

Oh that's a tough question to pick a favorite movie. Rent is one of my top faves though. I am sure there are others but I can't think of any at the moment.
