I just found a picture I took of Leticia a few years ago at the bottom of the stairs of my house. It was before the covid.
It seems that our lives now are before and after the covid. I am always hearing about people that have covid over and over again in spite of the vaccines. Fortunatly, the vaccine turns the covid into something that we can manage.
But with the pandemia I lost my Leticia coming almost every day. And I miss her. I´ll have fun with her while I´m at her house.

@MarieCoyle You meant that that´s why I don´t see Leticia much any more? Nothing like that if that´s what you meant.

Marga, many people here carry their cell phones in their back pocket or any pocket. They don't always turn them off, I guess--and many times they will inadvertently call the last number they talked to when they are moving around with the phone in the pocket. It seems to be common thing to say, oh, she butt-dialed me'' or sometimes, ''pocket dialed'' silly, I know. Sorry for the confusion.

I guess I've never really seen your house, but I like those stairs.
We dont say before and after covid, because we had covid before it was a thing with a name, and our lives werent that disturbed by it

Leticia used to be first my maid then my companion and friend for 25 years. I lost her with the pandemia as we lost here many things. We had a long quarantine and then I started to lead a very sedentary life. Now Leticia is inviting me to her house. I don´t really know what is not understood by people who usually read my posts.

@marguicha They're talking about the way your post was written before you edited it. I didn't understand it either but didn't bother to tell you that.

Must have been my crazy computer @marguicha. When I first saw yout post all I read were letters that made zero sense. Now that I have come back, I can read Leticia. She is lovely and I'm sorry that I made no sense.

@sallypup It was not your computer. It was me.
You see, I first tried to see if I could get here an old picture of her. So I gambled that nobody would see it before I edited it. And I wrote just any letter as subject so that the computer would let me post it. Then, immediatly, I edited it. But it was too late. I´ll make a post right now excusing myself for doing this.

For me, this pandemia has meant a lot of stress and a change of life and that has meant that I live such a sedentary life alone that I now have trouble walking.

@marguicha We think twice about many things now - mostly about whether we'll go out or not.

The worst problem is that she lives very far from my house. And she is taking care of one of her granddaughters.
