Thanks to somebody on FB I found a clip of this group. I'd honestly forgotten how much fun we used to have at the sock hops whenever they'd play this song. Sooo, are you old or young? If you're young had you ever heard this one before?

I had heard of them, but not that song. I’d love to go back in time, and visit that time period. It seems like the good times back then were really good.

Well, if you were a man then sure, it would be good but for women not so much.

@AmbiePam The 60s and 70s were the best. Wish I could go back.

Not everybody liked rock n roll back in the mid 1960s.

@rebelann I remember the group. I used to drive my parents nuts when I was studying and had my radio or record play going and would have them on. I just checked Ebay and I may get one of their CD's for remembrance purposes. I loved a mixed bag of music, rock n roll, classical, and so much more.

That is true. I recently heard a song that was popular in Europe but never made it to the US.

@rebelann It is possible, in the old days not all songs crossed the ocean.

I guess I'm young... I've never heard it before... and have never been to a "sock hop".

Yeah, you iz young ..... Oddly enough those sock hops were a left over of the 1950s and here in El Paso many still preferred the 1950s including the music. I happened to live among military families who'd bring in up to date music so by 1965 the school I was in had 90% Army brats. At the time it was also the newest high school and most any undesirable students from other schools ended up in mine and they created the gang associated with my school.

Yep, I remember that one, mainly because I hear it once or twice a year on the radio. Those non-dancing dancing girls really added to the desert scene...

I have to wonder why those girls weren't dancing or at least swaying. I've seen girls doing the same in other 1960s videos.
