1/16/24 - Meals

It will be a relief when this cold front will be over. I think that many countries are suffering extreme cold.

We are supposed to get snow again Friday. This last one we had it wasn't that much. Your post made me crave for a muffin. Haven't had one in a while.

My sister is watching Lost too. I think she gets the DVD's at the library. I will have to watch that series sometime. It might be on Netflix but since my internet isn't unlimited it would take me forever to stream it.

Yes, I'm ready to see the backside of these bitter cold temps. However, I'm not thrilled with next Tuesday's forecast. It's going to be high enough they're predicting rain. Noooooooooo! Your food looks good. Food yesterday: Breakfast was Raisin Bran and banana. Lunch was a beef, Swiss and Colby-jack cheese sandwich, beef and cheddar cheese stick and a DC Oreo cookie. Snack was another beef and cheddar cheese stick and DC Dove Promise chocolate candy. The scale was nice to me this morning.

We've begun watching the Australian Open Tennis matches. We often don't bother but we're enjoying it this year.

Oh, I love Lost! I love anything with a bit of mystery about it. Yesterday I had:- Breakfast - Alpen cereal with no added sugar, blueberries on top and strawberries on the side. Lunch:- Udon noodles with carrots and celery Dinner - Shrimpee (vegan alternative to shrimp), peas, carrots and brown and wild rice. I hope you are well. Have a nice day.

Yesterday we ate out. I got a cheeseburger and tator tots. It was very tasty. I hadn't had a burger is such a long time.

I will be relieved when we are out of this deep freeze. I can handle a few days of it, but this has been going on for quite a long time. It will be nice to return to normal winter temperatures around the freezing point. Last night we had roasted organic baby potatoes-the multi coloured ones, part of a baguette, chicken schnitzel and steamed mixed veggies.

We loved Lost, but felt disappointed with the last episode and how they ended it.

I am into Bewitched on my DVDs, I had tater tots and pork patties.

I have chicken, rice, and cream of mushroom soup in the crockpot. First time with this recipe, so I hope it will be good.

I don't have motivation. I am trying to interact here. I had chicken soup, butter, and some candies. I had tuna too.

63 days seems like it is right around the corner. Hmm. Love the countdown. It makes it all seem better. lol For dinner I had two hamburger patties left from the box of 6 I had, and so I just cooked those up and we had cheeseburgers on toasted bread with ketchup and mustard, onions and tomato. On the side we had a salad. Yummy stuff.

Almost less than 2 months till Spring then...so that is good. That's good you'll warm up soon. I do hope we see 42 degrees tomorrow! Vegetable lasagna? That does not sound appetizing! I had fish and mashed taters for 1 meal, and then pizza for my 2nd meal

I just love the way you mention s**w. Winter should be a four letter word. Yesterday I absolutly finished all my leftovers and cooked a pot of marinara sauce that will be enough for at least 4 servings.

I haven't done much either. It's hard to get motivated.
