Last Night's Dinner

Ah. A delicious treat of turkey in a gravy sauce. What does one do with such a concoction? Dip crackers in it? Serve it up on some toasted bread? Cook up some rice and place it on top of a bed of it? Perhaps add some noodles and stir it all together?
Or, feed it to the cats.
Of course, this was not our dinner last night. This was dinner for Grayson and Cal, our two loveable furry friends.
I usually will give them a selection at dinner time of Friskie's, this time it was from the Tasty Treasures collection and this one was turkey in gravy.
It may not look all that appealing to us, but to the kitties? It puts them into a mad feeding frenzy and you wouldn't believe the throngs of excited meows that permeate the house as I prepare it and take it to their favorite eating spots.

@MarieCoyle I mean, if I include a picture of these plates and tell the people this is what I have to eat since I lost that quarter, they might feel more sorry for me. lol

I tried to talk him into starting a gofundme account yesterday, because he lost out on his quarter at Aldi and was in agony over it...he said he'd think about it. Hey, ya never know!

That's funny, because before I even read your discussion, I looked at the photo and thought to myself that it looked like cat food and that NJChicaa would not approve of it! lol

@porwest Well, maybe she would agree with it as food for a cat. lol

@moffittjc I think that would be something we COULD agree on. It IS funny to me how many things we actually disagree on beyond politics. lol
We are literally like oil and water.

@porwest it’s funny but I just looked at your discussion pic and the kitty food sorta looks like cod liver, which I like to eat.

I don't remember. Although I could go back and review Linda's posts to find out. lol. Her posts are sort of like a "what I ate" archive. But I do know I did not eat what was on these plates. That was definitely for the kitty's delight. Not mine. lol

That looks good enough to eat. We had turkey from Meals on Wheels yesterday. You have some spoiled kitties. Have a good day.

I thought to myself if that plate of food was enough to satisfy you until I learned it was for the cats. Glad you care for them.

When I looked at the photos, I somehow guessed they are for your cats.

My first thought was, "This photo doesn't make this food look very appetizing", then I was glad to know it's for your fur babies. They are quite pampered!
