The concrete/handrail guy came out yesterday to take a look at our porch. This is the porch from which my husband took a tumble. We are going to replace the bottom step and put in a sturdy handrail on each side of the double doors. He will give me a quote today.
I managed to clog the toilet again. This time he ONLY charged $135. Sigh. I hate handling adult things! lolololol
6 days until spring. The weather was really nice yesterday.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Lasagna, roll, carrots, spinach, applesauce
Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin
Dinner - Meals on Wheels - Vegetable lasagna, carrots, succotash

Ugh, I hate paying for things. Good about the handrail though..and the toilet too of course.

I have been looking all over for someone who does small concrete jobs. They are hard to find. And then the handrail people are even harder to find. This company has the concrete steps AND they make their own handrails. Might have to go with them. All the plumber did was snake out the toilet. Took him about 5 minutes.

Adulting stinks.
Chicken taco salad for lunch, tomato soup and rice for dinner. And fruit cocktail! That was a nice surprise: just reached in the fridge and got a can, didn’t know I had any fruit cocktail in there.

@LindaOHio — that’s why I have all my stuff in one bag. Don’t want to have to “adult” when I don’t feel like it, so I’ve done all my planning gradually…where I didn’t feel it.

@FourWalls Have 5 adult calls to make today. Sigh. It wouldn't be any different with hubby home because I'm the one that makes all the calls anyway.

I had two big chicken wings baked with blue cheese dressing, I made them very tender and juicy, I had not potatoes or anything with them as it would have been too much for me, Good eating this time,

Hopefully the modifications to the porch won't cost you too much, but it seems to be a necessary expense. Onward and upward.
For dinner I fired up the grill and cooked some Stonie's supreme pizza brats and we had a salad on the side. It was all delicious.
I did not clog my toilet this morning unloading it. lol

That's good they'll fix that, and put handrails up...sorry about the toilet though! Yes, adulting sucks!
