Warren Buffet Lost a Sale

Is this a good time for me to vent about my irritation that it is becoming more difficult to buy briefs when it comes to underwear these days? It seems the trend is boxer briefs, and I just don't want to wear them.
They are better than boxers, which I abhor. But I still prefer briefs. Probably more than you ever wanted to know about what's in my pants, I bet.
In any event, from time to time I do have to replace some older worn-out pairs, and so I went looking for some new ones. The prices are as abhorrent as the flippy floppy uncomfortable nature of regular boxers. Ahem.
Usually, I resort to Fruit of the Loom. They fit well and are generally cheaper than Hanes or other brands. But this time, the George brand took the prize. Fruit of the Loom was $21 for 6 pairs and George was only $15 for 6 pairs.
So, that's what I bought.
If anyone was curious what all of this has to do with Warren Buffet, he's the guy who owns the company. Berkshire Hathaway is the owner of Fruit of the Loom and Warren Buffet is the man behind Berkshire Hathaway.

I wish the chain stores like Wally World and Target (or SOMEBODY) would make a “senior” department (similar to the children’s department), where they’d stock “normal” underwear and jeans that haven’t been half-stuck in a shredder before hung on a rack. NOBODY wants to see this 64-year-old body in clothes made for 24-year-olds!

I refuse to buy jeans/pants that are full of holes. Has to be the stupidest fashion trend ever invented, and a huge waste of money.

The picture is of boxer briefs? They seem too short lol. I used to buy my husband Lucky Brand boxer briefs. Then his brother got him Aeropostale ones for his birthday. And many of them. So no more Lucky Brand for him. At least for now.
How soft and comfy is the brand you got? Don't want to compromise on quality when it comes what covers your privates.

@lovebuglena Not sure what you are seeing, but they look very much like briefs to me. Here is a picture of boxer briefs.
And actually that picture is looser than most boxer briefs I have seen. But very similar.

I didn't know that. I bought some fruit of loom underwear last year. I really like them. I bought some women's boyshorts and women's briefs.
