Said Goodbye

I now know she wanted to be inside to say goodbye. She knew she was always safe in here. She cuddled me last night then laid down and slept. I made her a bed when I seen she wasn't getting back up. We buried her by the carport where she liked hanging out. I will miss her helping me outside. But we have grandkids of hers. That helps some.
Today is the auction. I am hoping to see some sunshine while we are there. That will cheer things up some. I do plan to get that table today. But I won't get it set up probably because we play euchre tonight.

It's always the worst part of owning pets when they die

@2ndchances24 I understand that feeling. Some have hurt more than others to lose. My dobermans are both old. Duke is 11 and Jill is 9. But they are both doing great yet and I hope for a long time. Patch border collie is only 2. I think these will be my last ones.

@wolfgirl569 yes I have but you some how get use to it as bad as that sounds
but they know we loved them & enjoyed their ways they all were & are & is good dogs.
But after what's left has gone we're done with having any more pets.

I’m sorry. From what you have written, she was a much loved pet, and she loved you back. I know it hurts.

Whenever I have lost a pet, I find myself looking down for them, a person gets so used to them being there and following us around, etc...it's just hard to lose them.

I know what it feels to lose a pet. We have had pets for years and yes they die or leave us. It is not easy to lose one where they just go without showing any signs of illness as in your case

She was 12 or 13 so she had a good life. But it still doesn't help

She did seem comfortable. No crying just sleeping and purring when I petted her. On Saturday she was bouncing all over the house and jumping on the counters. She was happy to be with us again all day.

I'm sorry for your loss. All of our cats are outside cats. Technically feral but we have taken care if them since they were babies. Nala left and never came back and that was heartbreaking for me. I know it's a hazard but it still hurt. We're hoping that someone took her in. There are so many animals around her that people are trying to get rid of and just as many that since they can't get rid of them, they just drop them off somewhere.

Bright Eyes was in and out. I have full time outside cats too. Sometimes they do just disappear.

Sorry for the lose. I am sure you already are missing her. But with time, you'll be able to fair on without her sad memories. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy euchre a great deal. I prefer tetris or draughts though.
