11/23/24 - Update On My Husband

Left another message yesterday for my husband to call me...no response. It's been a week since I've talked to him. Looks like I will not be seeing him on Sunday as his cousin's car most likely needs a belt. I'm hoping I will see him on Thanksgiving.
Still haven't filed an appeal on the second case. I guess I will because the first two appeals can be done by phone and take no time at all.
Am really peeved at Medical Guardian. My medical alert pendant is supposed to last 4-5 days without a charge; and it needed to be charged after 1-1/2 days. I need to call them too.

Can you get someone else to take out to see hubby or at least someone to check on him for you? Do you have Netflix? Ted Dan son is in a show about going undercover in a nursing home, but this is some deluxe place, not our typical who'e shove them in a corner and hope nobody notices place

@LindaOHio Its based on a true story. Its actually a comedy. I am hoping there will be some poignant moments in it though.

There unfortunately is no one else. The other cousin that used to take me places is now working full time online and has no time. No, I don't have Netflix. Sounds like an interesting show. Is it a true story or a drama? Ted Danson was the one we saw near Rodeo Drive when we were in California.

I wish there was a better way for you to be able to communicate with your husband and to visit him more often. I'm always keeping my fingers crosses on those appeals. Grrr on the pendant - hope they will take care of that asap. Big hugs .

I'm hoping to see my hubby on Thanksgiving. The pendant thing is really annoying as I went with them because of the longer wearing period.

@LindaOHio If the battery life is poor I hope that the service doesn't match, and that they react should you need them.

Seems like my cell phone needs recharging more frequently than it did. I didn't use it for the last two days since charging it, but it still says the battery is low. It's a battery conspiracy!

The car needs a fan belt; so it will be an easy fix. We will be able to see my husband on Thanksgiving (Thursday). Thank you for your kind thoughts.

When did you get the pendant? First of all, if you get anything in the mail, it's going to come with a partical charge. So you're going to need to charge it sooner, on the first day. Second, you should wait a couple charge cycles before calling and claiming that it's defective.

@LindaOHio Unless you charged it to full the day you got it, then how do you know? Sometimes a charge indactor reads as full, when it really isn't.

It had a long, full charge the first time. It's on the second cycle now. We'll see how long it lasts.

I don't know. It's on the second charge now. I'll see how long it lasts. He might not be calling me because of the sundowners.

I'm sure you're disappointed that you had to cancel your visit to see your hubby. Hopefully you'll be able to visit on Thanksgiving.
I agree you should call about your pendant if it only lasted for half the time it was supposed to.

It's only a fan belt problem on his cousin's car; so it's an easy fix. Thanksgiving should be no problem.
