Basmati rice tastes better. But I would have done the same if I had leftover rice. Your fried rice looks so yummy and is so healthy
. Enjoy it. I had my lunch of vegetable biryani. I cooked chicken biryani for my husband and daughters.

@arunima25 oh okay
I checked the price and it is more expensive than the Japanese rice and Jasmine rice and these two are expensive here in my country

@rakski Yes, that's a premium variety and pretty costly too. In that too we have different varieties of basmati, some more affordable than other. We use basmati rice for special occasions and special dishes like biryani. The grains are long and have an aroma that fills the house and is very appetizing.

I read this and wondered what a 'ref' was...I guess I was having one of those DUH moments. It was all on me, I had just never heard of a refrigerator referred to as a ref before!
I learned something new today!

@MarieCoyle Yes, I think you are right there with the fridge. 'Ref' here is a short cut version of Refrigerator here

Yes, slang for refrigerator in the US has always been ''fridge''...which I often thought was tied into one of the first brands of the so-called modern refrigerators, called Frigidaire. I could be wrong on that, I just always connected the names that way.
