Hey myLot friends. I just wanted to let you all know that our friend, Tina Dalasinski, has posted on Facebook that she had a stoke and has been in the hospital since this past Monday. She lost her ability of speech and just got it back.
Here is what she said in her post:
"Ok everyone for those of you that do not know I am in the hospital been here since Monday had a stroke lost speech but got it back keep the prayers coming for a speedy recovery.My sister came to see me thank you Teresa Cuzimhoppe Hoppe love you and thank you for my beautiful blanket and thanks to my mom and John Ganske and my man love you all."
I am sure that she would appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers at this time.

I hadn't noticed she disappeared. She can type, (kind of), which is good. Looks like another stroke servivor joins the club.

@kaylachan Both my husband and myself are too! His was in 2015 and mine in 2017.

@kareng I want George t know he's not alone. There's a guy I follow on TikTok who had a stroke like George, did. My neighbor across the street is a stroke sevivor.

Thanks Karen. It has been a week today and slowly getting better. My speech is bad when I am tired if I am not it is ok I can be understood even with the stuttering. They are working more with my left arm today I notice my hand is not the best anytime I use my left hand I drop things and the worse of it all is I am left handed.

I'm sorry to hear that your left side, especially your arm was affected. That is going to take some getting used to and a lot of rehab. But it is better than not being able to use your arm or hand at all! Just take it easy and one day at a time and heal!! Sending you lots of love and hugs! And of course, prayers!

@Tina30219 I had a hard time with getting back typing skills after my stroke. You just have to keep trying. And be patient with yourself!

@kareng Yeah it sucks because that is the hand I use the most especially writing.

Oh, wow! I knew I hadn't seen here lately but assumed she and her boyfriend were busy with something.
I hope she fully recovers and is back on myLot soon.

Thank you for the update Karen. I will definitely keep Tina in my prayers. I'm glad she got her speech back, I hope that temporary loss was all that was affected in her stroke.

@kareng I’m sure it was a precautionary move to make sure there was no lingering effects, or to make sure there wasn’t any other lasting damage.

@moffittjc She was having some trouble coordinating hand and wrist movements and dropping things, so I'm sure they wanted her to have a few days of rehab. She was released on Thursday with out patient rehab, so sounds like she is on the mend!
