Dr. Pepper, you are silly

It is that time of year. Mainstream soda companies creating new flavors. Usually I am impervious to them, but Bob saw one on TV he wanted to try.
Blackberry Dr. Pepper. That did sound okay, so I got us a 12 pack. We do not usually buy pop. Maybe one on a road trip or a fountain drink with fast food. I am just as happy with seltzer or sparkling water. We went home and made ice cream floats and I do like this flavor. I have had Cherry Dr. Pepper, and liked it, and Strawberry Vanilla and it was okay. This was good.
Now for the silly. I saw on an ad on Facebook that there is a Banana Cream Pie Dr. Pepper. Just no way does that even sound good. Be on the lookout. It is in a yellow can.
Edit--Banana Cream doctor Pepper, forget the pie part.

I've never been a big soda fan. I keep some Sprite here for upset tummies, that's about it. I do like sparkling water, but I prefer iced tea if I am craving a cold drink, and coffee is and always has been my favorite drink of all.
Banana Cream Pie Dr. Pepper sounds terrible, I agree!

We keep gingerale for any stomach issues. It would be smarter of me to keep ginger tea.

I keep ginger tea here, too. I do have one small bottle of ginger ale, and two little bottles of Sprite. I had to go look to be sure!

Sometimes a new flavor in a soda comes out that we want to try, too. When Salted Caramel Pepsi came out, we rushed to try it. Luckily, I only bought six of the 16 oz bottles of it. YUCKY! (The first sip was okay but the more you drank, the weirder the taste...) Pretty tried it and we slowly gave the other four bottles away to friends to try. None of them liked it, either. 
Sometimes I wish the "new" flavors of a soda would stick around, like Black Cherry Pepsi... But, if they don't have enough supporters, the new flavor goes away quickly.
We just don't buy enough soda to make a difference in their marketing.
As far as Banana Cream Pie Dr. Pepper goes, just NO! That doesn't even sound drinkable!

My favorite is the Coconut Diet Dr. Pepper, I sure hope they have that again this year. I have the Sugar Free Strawberry Vanilla now. I like it quite a bit. It smells and tastes fragrant. I had the Blackberry as well.

They will try anything to get you to put some soda in your cart, especially with soda sales way down in the U.S. Personally, I don't drink soda either. Most of the flavors, to me, aren't enough to get me to try any. But that banana cream pie one sounds absolutely disgusting. Just yuck.

And they offer these deals, buy two, get the third one free. Nope, I bought one twelve pack, because I could not get a single of any size and hubby wanted to try it. We shall see how long it lasts.

@porwest It was three of any coke or Dr. Pepper product. So you could do two you like and get the third one free.

I'd like to try this new Dr. Pepper flavor since that is my drink. I tried the cherry one and couldn't see much difference. No. The banana cream flavor doesn't sound good.

Coke came out with a flavor that's supposed to taste like orangesickles; BUT it has vanilla in addition to the orange. I think they should have stuck with just orange. I always get a wedge of orange when I have a Diet Coke out. Hubby drank a lot of Dr. Pepper.
