I used to belong to a writing group. You would put your writing up and others would critique it for you. There were also competitions from time to time.
I helped several people by editing their work and even got a credit in the front pages of one book. The book in the photo is by one of the former members. He lives in South Australia and has self-published. His books are available on Amazon and this arrived while we were away.
I haven’t read this yet but his previous book was very engrossing and I’m hoping for the same here.
I think it’s a mix of adventure/mystery/romance which would be fine with me.
