Uno spent the afternoon with us

The photo shows the cat from over the back fence. His name is Uno. His owner works away week-in, week-out and when he is away, Uno gets lonely and comes to visit. He is more friendly than the two resident cats which we hardly ever see. I love his little white paws and his white whiskers.
The other day he had put himself into the male guinea pigs’ hutch and was having a nap. He barely fitted but seemed disinclined to come out. This afternoon, Vince was reading on the couch on the back verandah and Uno arrived to keep him company.

I think cats love small places because they're always chilly and get into the small places so their body heat can keep them warmer. I know that's why they like to sit in cardboard boxes and sit behind desktop computers. Human houses are too chilly for them.

Uno is quite handsome and reminds me of a 1950s teenager, sitting upside down on a couch with their feet up on the backrest. But to complete the image, he should be holding a phone up to his ear.

We don't have street cats and dogs here and no rabies either. I'm glad really. The street dogs in Thailand didn't seem to have a good life but people seem fond of them.

Tuxs are really pretty. When I was a kid, we bred black-and-white horses/ponies (and brown-and-white),; we had Friesian cows (black-and-white) and most of the farm cats were black-and-white. I thought that was pretty cool! And then Dad bought some Suffolk sheep which had black faces and legs.

Uno seems to be a friendly cat since my late dad said that cats are very selective who can be their friends.

Absolutely adorable! Perhaps my cat, KaraMel also gets lonely because I am at work most of the time. That is why he would frequently visits my Mom's house. Also my Mom says that he got a new friend there.

He was right at home on the couch. He sat on Vince's lap for a while then decided the couch was more comfortable.
