5/15/25 - Meals

I hope the sale of the car goes well... Of course Walmart has to increase their prices. Those tariffs are forcing everything to cost more, no matter where it comes from. But, you know we're only paying 25 cents for a dozen eggs, right?

I ate shrimps!

Chicken taco for lunch, Boca burgers for dinner. And apples, peaches, and yogurt!

We had hamburger steaks and green beans. I hope that you get what you want for the car.

I fired up potatoes, onions, and smoked sausage in my electric skillet.

Yesterday is too far away. I know we had leftovers from the meal the night before last. Lunch was a ham and turkey and cheese roll up, with spring mix lettuce inside. Also yogurt. Breakfast was eggs of some kind I think.

I had taco salad for lunch cereal for breakfast and don't remember dinner.

I hope you get it sold today.

Hopefully the car changes hands easily, you deserve a break. I have been getting an increased number of callers from the US inquiring about setting up bank accounts with us here in Canada. I hear so much about the economy, how hard it is to make ends meet, how expensive post secondary education is, and how everyone's 401K's are tanking. It breaks my heart, because these people are at their wits end and so fearful of what will happen next. And of course, as a good and caring neighbour, I hope the very same. It is frightening how 1 individual in 1 office can cause so many people's lives to be disrupted. Many of them cannot even say 'his' name, and I am not one to waste their time speaking about him, as that wouldn't accomplish anything.

I hope they will get your car without trying to reduce the price again. Those tariffs are obliging all stores to increase prices.

Good luck with the car sale. I ate lunch out yesterday. I ate two lovely breaded fish pieces and fries that were like Jos jos and a little cole slaw.

Hopefully nothing else changes on your car. Fingers crossed. As for Walmart, they are "virtue signaling," but there is no need for them to raise prices. They are the best positioned to absorb them. We'll see what they actually do. For dinner I had an easy night and just made On-Cor Salisbury steaks with baked potatoes and buttered kernel corn on the side. Good eats!

Hopefully they'll go with what has been said. I need to have someone come take our old car. Aren't prices always going up at walmart already? Sounds good minus fruits and veggies in your meals. I had DQ BBQ chicken strips again lol and then regular chicken strips for dinner. Yeah, I do like chicken lol
