School's Out for the Summer. . .

Did you sing it? I know it will be a short ten weeks off, but I am ready for a break. Having a cold at the end of the year was not fun. As the year ends, teachers often find themselves changing classes, locations, etc. Mrs. Cooper, who was the general ed teacher for my student in third grade and then later in fifth grade, twice is one of those teachers. She got an opportunity to move up to teach high school. A variety of classes, in a variety of rooms. She will no longer have a cozy little reading corner in her room, so she donated some pillows and such to who ever wants them. All the teachers do this. They put things they no longer want in the teachers' workroom. I came home with a souvenir. I have looked at and admired the pillow in my picture for a number of years. Its bright colors really pop. I love florals.This is a sewn cover over a bed pillow. You will notice music references in the graffiti on the pillow. Oh, I know, it is not really "You can grow your own way" It is GO your own way, but if you search "grow your own way, song" It gives you the Go your own way song. The other two songs are "Don't worry, be happy" and "I've got sunshine, on a cloudy day"/ .
