As you know, I have been experimenting with "new" frozen dishes recently, trying to keep things interesting.
I make an incredible Aphrodesiac beef Stroganoff from scrtch, but have not done so in years. My schedule demands that I often eat frozen this or that for dinner.
Recently I tried this Stroganoff from Stouffer's. It was boring boring boring. No tang. No real creaminess. No onion flavor. Just...boring.
Have you had any culinary flops recently? Anything new that you DO recommend?

That's what I do, too. I always make extra so I can freeze some to use when I can't see to cook something.

You need to say things euphemistically. This Stroganoff is different...from the one you knew traditionally. The chefs have taken extraordinary pains to hide the creaminess and for those who do not like tangy taste this is the one for you. A review like that, you will be earning dollars. LOL

@DaddyEvil I am trying my best to be kind to him, if I can ever be that. LOL

I used to buy that and fry onions with garlic to add to it. YUM!
You're right, though, without adding to it, it doesn't hit the spot for me, either.
You might try to find some pasta packages called Knorr Pasta Sides. They just need water with milk and less than 20 minutes and they taste good... I usually brown ground beef and onions or fry chicken and onions in cooking spray and cook the pasta on top of the meats, just following the directions on the packages for a delicious meal.

Hubby bought two Banquet TV dinners. Salisbury steaks. Three meat patties, a paste of potatoes and a splash of their brown gravy. Tasted OK but needed veggie sides. We got sick. I think it was too much something or other. I like it best when I can cook from scratch on a weekend and then package up our own "TV dinners" and freeze them.

Just now
Flops not recently, in the case of frozen dinners, I only buy things that I am pretty sure I am going to like.

You need to get some Spike. It has many spices mixed in. It can be used in anything. Just sprinkle it before you microwave and it won't be boring anymore.

I love stuff with mushrooms. We don't have this one at Walmart. Sorry it didn't strike your fancy....or anything else.

Culinary Flops.
Not recently.
I suppose because we stopped eating out the number of culinary flops we experienced has dropped sharply
We cook stuff from scratch and we are both quite good cooks so we don't really do flood.
I think you could have predicted by the picture on the box that the Stroganoff would not be good
