Are the Ohio Haitians still eating the dogs and cats of the law-abiding citizens of Springfield?

Remember how the people elected in the 2024 presidential election spread this lie, and how JD Vance even admitted to spreading false stories just to get attention? "If I have to create stories...then that's what I'm going to do." Remember how the nucleus of this story eventually admitted they had no personal knowledge of it happening and their story was simply based on rumors they had heard instead of facts? Perhaps there were no good choices this time, but that was no reason to pick the worse of the two. Nor was it a valid reason to sit at home and not vote. Unfortunately, the majority of Americans have proven time and again that they are pretty much too ignorant to know what they are doing. But people died to give you the right to be ignorant. Happy Memorial Day.

I am tired of people not voting. Do not complain to me if you did not get your rear end out and vote. They were both awful choices, I know that! At least vote for the rest of the ballot if not the President. Just take action. Just do something.

It is incredible to me that America decided to board the Titanic for a second time after the disaster that was the first Trump administration. I have absolutely no sympathy for those who voted for him who will now lose some of their Medicaid, Social Security, SNAP, etc. Fools.

They walked into it with their eyes wide shut. Damn shame it affects others than them. Too many people simply did not GAF and now the chickens are coming home to roost.

@NJChicaa Politics stink, no matter what color, red or blue. I just wish we had some better choices.

@Scarred4Lyfe Yes I feel sorry for those who will be hurt due to the GOP cuts who didn't vote Trump. I find it HILARIOUS though when those uneducated idiots prop up Trump but are also on Medicaid, SNAP, Social Security, etc. They voted against their own best interest. And they want to dissolve the Department of Education? Maybe they should put more money into their schools.

My ex-boss lives in an upper middle class section of homes almost abutting a large lake and I guess he has goose poop problems in his drive half the year.

I can't remember if I told you that Pretty and I both did mail-in votes... Then we got a notice that said our votes didn't count since we weren't registered to vote! You can't get a mail-in packet unless you're registered to vote! We called and complained. We were told to get our cards and make sure everything was correct on them... Nothing wrong with our registration cards...

First time I did it (2020) I didn't sign something (there's a signature line I'd missed) but the clerk's office here contacted me and I was able to get it rectified in time for it to count. That is pretty odd because yeah, they don't send you a ballot unless you are registered to vote by mail.

I wish we had to vote. That might have made a difference.

Well said. Australians vote or get fined which doesn't stop them giving a 'donkey' vote which here means an invalid vote. I think many make a bit of an effort to think about what they're doing. Our journalists would be quick to jump on such outrageous claims as eating cats and dogs but we don't have as many states nor as many people.

Our 'journalists' de-bunked the story, but it did not stop many of Trump's sycophants from insisting (to this day even) it was true. It's simply sad how blinded some people are.

There is no valid reason to sit home and not vote. It is sad to say, but you are right in the sentence. "Unfortunately, the majority of Americans have proven time and again that they are pretty much too ignorant to know what they are doing." How sad. I tried for months to give people both on Facebook and on here the knowledge about his past and who he really is. Many obviously ignored it. And, people will continue to die and be kidnapped on the streets and be sent to hell on earth. We will never get back all we had as a nation. I am so disgusted at all he has done, and we still have 3 and a 1/2 years left of this term. He may even try for a third. He gets away with so much. Can he get away with that, too?

Oh, no, they stopped their evil right after the election. Wasn’t it Weird Al who once did an album called Dare to Be Stupid? Too many people have apparently taken that as a challenge.

So sad but true. Young people die to fight for the right of the citizens of a nation and those people do nothing for their country. It happens everywhere in the world. Now that I live in Italy, those lazy bureaucrats sitting in the Swiss Italian Consulate have sent my ballots to our previous address in Switzerland!

I'm amazed how many people that I know don't vote. I vote in all the elections, especially the ones that they try to slip by for issues that will raise our taxes.
