Cousin #2 - Apparently I'm back in her good graces. She rattled on about Belize; and she expects to be gone in 4 months. I will need to find someone else to take me to my appointments, etc. Visiting Angels may have that service available.
Today cousin #3 and her husband are coming to clean out the front of the garage so that they can install the new garage door and opener.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - PB&J sandwich and BBQ chips
Dessert/Snack - Banana chocolate chunk muffin, ice cream bar
Dinner - Buffalo chicken/cheddar sandwich
What did you eat yesterday?

Will your insurance cover the cost of Visiting Angels for the services you need weekly? It LOOKS like a good service. (There is one located in Springfield, about 50 miles from our city.)
I don't remember if I ate breakfast yesterday but I didn't get sick so I must have. I cooked chicken nuggets and had mashed potatoes to go with them for lunch and ate a bowl of beef, potato and cheese soup for supper. (I would have had a chocolate chip cookie for dessert tonight but Pretty ate the second box she bought for me.

I doubt insurance will cover VA. I will find out more when they call. Tell Pretty to stay out of your cookies!!!!

Yes, I always have to keep on my toes when she's around. I have to watch what I say.

It felt like I was snacking all day. I know we ate frozen pizza for supper. I like Belvitas, and I know I eat a lot of fresh fruit.

I could go for some pizza. I don't get enough veggies and fruit in my diet.

Hope the Visiting Angels are able to help and that certainly would be one less thing to worry about when the cousin goes to Belize.
Yesterday I went to my daughters for a small bbq. We had simple stuff (burgers, hot dogs and sides). Nothing fancy but it kind of felt festive since it was a holiday.

@LindaOHio Can you change that?

@TheHorse I don't want to gain weight. I keep 1 oz. bags of various kinds of chips to eat with my sandwich; but I don't eat them as a snack. I suppose I could buy some yogurt or something like that.

I can't do that because I rarely have snackable food around.

I've heard good things about Visiting Angels. My mom even worked for them for a few years. Hope you are able to find the help you are looking for.
For dinner I fired up the grill and cooked some brats, and then had some noodles left from another dish I made that I overcalculated on, so I just turned them into a tuna salad.

I just wish it was easier to trust people from those agencies.

@LindaOHio I have to admit, those jobs do attract a certain type of person, and they're low paying as well, which makes things a bit more problematic.

Yesterday I had a chicken soft taco for lunch, chicken veggie soup for dinner, and fake-but-sooooo-good strawberry sorbet for dessert. And apples and yogurt!

@MarieCoyle Are there onions with the fajitas? Are they spicy?

My favorite Mexican food is either a chicken fajita salad or chicken fajitas. The trouble with ordering the chicken fajitas is that no matter where it is, the portions are huge!! So I either have to take home half of it, or share the fajita order. I just wish they would gear it down somewhat and not make such big portions.

That is too bad that she is going to Belize. I would imagine that she will be less and less likely to be able to help as the time grows near for her to leave, especially if she is counting down the time 4 months ahead of her departure.
I hope that you can get in with Visiting Angels.
Yesterday I had a leftover steak shiskabob for lunch, and reheated some beef stew for supper as I was feeling very cold.

I think she's not thinking about the danger of driving through Mexico to get there.

@LindaOHio I don’t like onions. My tummy aches when I accidentally eat meals with raw onions.

I love potatoes. I could eat them in any form as long as there were no onions.

That's good you are, but sorry she's going to be leaving. Hopefully you can find someone else to help with that.

@MommyOfEli2013 Nope. They have a minimum of 4 hours per shift; and they don't want sporadic use.
