Do you ever sleep in?

I slept in this morning. I don't have to work until 2:30 PM, and I was feeling lazy. I usually I get up with the sun. Today I did not stumble out of bed until about 8:30 AM. I am tired of bacon, so I got some corned beef hash this morning. $5 for one can. Dang. How did grocery prices get so high? I'll have one egg with my hash. How is your day shaping up? Do you ever sleep in?

I cannot remember the last time I slept later than 7 a.m., that is already "late" for my habits.

@TheHorse - I do not know if this is true, but I have always been an early riser.

@LadyDuck It's just one of those expressions I have heard since my childhood days. Do they have a similar expression in Italy?

We sleep in very occasionally. 9am would be about the limit for us. Mostly it's quite a bit earlier.

My "flat" looks East. I tend to get up with the sun.

@TheHorse I'm sure I'd be up with the sun too if the bedroom faces east. Ours faces south.

$5 for a can of hash? That's terrible. I wish I could sleep in. I get very little sleep at all.

I love to sleep in...but it hasn't happened in a very long time. All meats are up in price, whether they are fresh, frozen, canned...it all adds up.

8.30 ..hmmm must be very tired. Not that late but around 7 to 7.30 am. I prefer finishing some chores and then sleeping again. Kinda...it really relaxes me. LOL

I'm normally awake and playing online or reading all night... I take my morning meds around 5:30 am and fall asleep between 7 and 8 am... I wake up every two to four hours to use the bathroom and then it can take several hours before I fall asleep again. No, I don't guess I ever "sleep in".

@TheHorse Other than being awake at night, I don't get a choice on the rest of it.

It’s Father’s Day here and so we have visitors for dinner. I will be busy cooking in a few hours from now. Yes, I mostly over sleep especially if I was so tired from doing anything.

Do you enjoy cooking? I do, but I have gotten lazy in my old age.
