Off to Guitar Center soon. How are you spending your Saturday?

Today (Saturday) is the only day I teach at Guitar Center in the morning. I'll be done at 1:30 PM or so, and I think it's supposed to be in the 90s F again. You know what that means: I'll be at the pool with a book this afternoon.
Yesterday evening I jumped in and wound up tossing things into the pool for some littlies to fetch. It was fun.
How is your Saturday shaping up? Did you read about how there were fake citations and misinterpretation of scientific data in some kind of "report" that RFK Jr. fella put out a day or two ago? I think the report was about children's heath. Do you have kids and.or grandkids? We live in odd times. It's good to have an escape.

My eyes swelled shut yesterday so I mostly stayed in bed and let my laptop read to me and slept. I'm glad you had a good day playing with kids.

I am not aware of this report. I am totally cut off from the world in the last few weeks as I am not much active on social media and even not reading news much. Totally focused on my recovery post surgery and enjoying my time with family.
Hope your day at pool is again a fun one. Let's hope that you find some little ones there.

Yeah, I read that about RFK Jr... it was accompanied by a photo of him wearing a tinfoil hat....
I'm spending the day wishing the rain clouds would go over to Manitoba where things are on fire. It's only 10°C/50°F here today after yesterday being 22°C/72°F.

I have heard about that, but not read about it. I wonder how it (the brain worms, or whatever) happened. What an odd cast Trump has assembled. A (an adult) student of mine was recently in Ireland. He said the Europeans he met were sympathetic, not resentful, toward Americans. I am not personally "ashamed." But I constantly feel "at sea" about what has happened here.

My couch and coffee table look like a hoarder's place. Piled with papers, a backpack to sew, knitting project, library books, an electronic picture frame still in the box! I have a little spot to sit.
My goal is to have it all tidied.
There's a big list at the back of my mind but I need to push that aside and do this .
I can not read anything about Trump or RFKjr. I just can't.
I can only try to improve my little part of the world.

I’ve had lunch at Mark’s, and I’m going to enjoy the day as long as it stays pretty. My niece and great-niece are coming to spend the night after the Shakespeare play tonight (Much Ado About Nothing), and I’ll get their beds ready for them.

More writing and researching and finding interesting castle in Sweden, Also finding out that those who have previously written about these castes did not have enough information, I love doing all the digging, I hope you had a good time at the Guitar Center and will have a relaxing evening, I am doing well on making passive income on Thursday I was down to $9 and now I have $15 and still a week to go before I order my groceries,

No kids here. I spent Saturday trying to figure out my new camera. Since I didn't want to download and print 122 pages from the Kodak site, I went on eBay and ordered a new manual. It cost quite a bit; but I paid for it with PayPal earnings.
