CAN!!!
And I'm talking about the heat. Its so dry as well as hot but I'm thankful we aren't getting any humidity, it's at 6% right now and I hope it stays there.
Of course, in this mobile home it's just a bit more humid.
As for what I think I can, well, I think I can make it through the summer without an A/C I'll let you know in August when it shouldn't be in the 100s anymore .... I'm praying it won't be in the hundreds.
If ya look closely you'll notice we're cooling down a bit on Tuesday,

Here's Roscoe last year on July 27, his plastic pool had fallen apart so all he had was that little tub. He has a really big pool now but I haven't been able to get a video of him in it, he does like it though

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

It's nice here today. It's 88F and the humidity is at 43%... This morning the forecast was showing no precipitation for today but now we're under a severe thunderstorm watch and, after 7 pm, we have an 80% chance of thunderstorms moving through my area.
I hope your area doesn't get too hot this year. The summer forecast here is showing we'll be at or over 100F by late this month, through August. I don't like it when it goes over 100F.

I don't think I'd like a 43% humidity with 100f ......... usually the hottest part of our summer is in June then if all goes as it used to we'll get rain right around the 4th of July.
I'm hoping I can afford to fix my A/C before next season.

@rebelann 43% humidity is LOW for my area. It normally hovers between 75 and 100% here. (Some winds blow up from the Gulf of Mexico and brings high humidity with it. I can't remember what that wind is called, though.)
As soon as it starts getting in the mid-70s, we have the air running to take some of the humidity out of the house or we smother. (It doesn't help that we get full sun from 10 am through until sunset. The West side of our house is all glass and, even with blackout curtains, it pushes the temps in the house over 80F)
We've been getting storms/rain most days. We're right in the paths of all those severe thunderstorms that all the weather reports have been talking about through the center of the US.

I remember Roscoe and his little tub (hey, it beat the heat!).
I hope you can too! We just got and installed a new window AC for my mom . . . that's a whole 'nother nutso story. But we got it just in time before the serious heat starts (and the tariffs). Let's hope the summer heat stays tame. Thus far we've had hazy mornings, so the days are still mild (oh, but it's climbing).

@rebelann The beloved tub
.
My mom has tried so hard not to use the AC . . . we all know the electric bill goes sky high. But these past couple days have been that frying pan you mentioned . . . I told her to use it - no sense "suffering".
We weren't affected by the curfew . . . and I think after a few days it was removed. It was so lame that it was painted as if all of LA was burning down - the stupidness was only in an area of a couple blocks. Bringing in the Natl Guards was ridiculous - even they requested to leave the scene so they can go focus on real emergencies like the other wildfires.

Good grief, it really sounds like some big shot actually fell for the overly exaggerated reports instead of actually reaching out to whoever the mayor is to get the real story. Talk about stupid these days.
I rarely watch news anymore because most of those media reporters are only looking to get high ratings instead of simply reporting the facts.
I know everyone blames Trump but I have to wonder who his advisors are because I really doubt 1 person can keep up with everything that goes on in a country as big as ours.
I hope your mom has the funds she needs to pay the electric bill.

I don’t think that I could survive without air conditioning anymore. Good luck.

It is humid here, but only made it to 73 yesterday. I think we do not get as many hot days as we used to. If it gets to 100 and stays there you may need to get in the big pool with Roscoe.

It's dry here too. No rain for months. Animals need to be watched when it gets so hot.

Seeing Roscoe sitting in that tub certainly made me laugh. That dog is a hoot
Hope you can survive without the a/c. Mine has been on already for a few weeks. Our temperatures have been pretty decent so at least it's not running 100% of the time.

I watched that video three times it was so cute! I hope you three can make it okay. The Oklahoma heat and humidity are dragging me down, and I can’t imagine how I’ll make it until September when it finally cools down. But if Roscoe can, Sadie and I should!

Tuffy finds cool places to relax and Roscoe has his new pool and I'm old so to me it's comfy, sorta. The trick with heat especially if you have humidity is to put yourself in a cool tub of water, that will help a lot. I suppose even Sadie wouldn't mind a cool tub of water if it gets super hot.
I don't think I'd be as comphy if it were humid
