Thunder and Rain Galore

The sound of thunder and rain has been incredibly loud since around 2 am this morning. I am grateful that we live on high ground. There is flooding in our area.
My husband made it to work safely, but I had high anxiety until I knew that he had made it. It is a 30 minute ride.
It’s going to be a wet and stormy week. At least all of the rain has cooled the temperature . It’s pretty dark outside and almost 8 am.

It has rained and stormed all week, but only two nights did we have tornadoes. Our city floods a lot, but I’m on the top floor so I have no particular worries about that.
This morning looks like another gloomy day. Hopefully, it gets better.

Our weather has been like a roller coaster. We've had rain almost every other day and today is another day starting off with sun but rain and thunderstorms for later this afternoon and throughout the weekend.

Pretty nice today. I just turned out the AC to check it out .The outside temp is only about 83 though, cooler than predicted

I would so love to hear that sound. I haven't had any rain or storms for months. No spring thunderstorms or anything. Just dry and hot. I might as well live in New Mexico or Arizona.

It's comparatively cool and drizzly. I was watching that severe weather roll into Dallas last night online. They were having 100-MPH wind gusts in places.

It stormed off and on during the night but they moved on by first light and our day is bright and sunny now. The forecast shows cloudy skies all week with rain predicted Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Right now the prediction is for us to see low-80s all week.
