2 Hour Nap / myLot

It felt great and was badly needed. I laid down after we came home from the auction. It was wonderful. Right before I got up my friend called. She is home from the hospital and sounds a little better. She did go to the Cleveland clinic and they took bone marrow samples. They have ordered light chemo and will check if it's helping by taking another marrow sample in a few weeks. At least it's a start. But she is still fighting the pneumonia too. She is a fighter. Hubby is snoozing now but that's not unusual. He went to the auction and slept in the truck some. That is normal

I am glad your friend is home and she is starting a cure, let's hope she can feel better.

I just hope she has the strength to endure chemo. That is very hard on the body. I told her to eat anything and everything she can. I remember them encouraging mom to even eat candy to help keep her weight up. They do very much

@wolfgirl569 - Chemo is very hard, if she is so frail it will be hard on her body. Good advice to eat as much as she can to gain some weight. My husband did not take a nap yesterday, I was surprised.

@LadyDuck My mom didn't weigh 100 pounds. But didn't lose much by eating junk food. It can be useful

I laid down this afternoon and started watching a 4 hour YT video. I like listening to this guy playing video games... I fell asleep and woke up at the end of another 4 hour video of him playing a game... It was a good "nap".

I am glad you enjoyed your auction so much. That's good about the friend...she may well need her fighting spirit. Like you said, at least it's a start.

@wolfgirl569 Chemo is truly tough, and requires a strong determination...and sadly, that's not always enough to cure it.
