No more leaks in the motor-home

The photo has nothing to do with the post. It was taken at my brother-in-law’s place. It’s Black Friday, as in Friday 13th, but I haven’t seen notices of sales or any public announcements about it. We picked up the motor-home this morning. It now has a new water pump so hopefully that will be the last of the leaks. We took it back to our friend’s place and had just started trying to get the cover on when it started to rain. So for the moment the cover is in our friend’s shed. I’m not sure we’d want to try to get the cover on, on Black Friday! We don’t have much to do next week but the following week we might go off in the motor-home for a few nights. We’ll need to head inland and/or north or we might get more rain than we’d like.

Hopefully the rain arriving while you tried to get the cover on outside was the worst that will happen to you on this 13th. I am not really superstitious, although i would never walk under a ladder, on the 13th or any other day.

I'm glad the leak is fixed now and hope it didn't cost either of you an arm and a leg in the process. I wouldn't have tried to put the tarp on in the rain, either. Much as we need the rain, I'm getting tired of it for now.

There is a car here that I see often and its number plate ends in 888. It is a really nice car so perhaps the owner is rich.

Thanks. We're hoping that is the end of the trouble for the moment. The weather isn't too bad but they are forecasting rain for the next week. It could be the same or worse the following week but it usually doesn't rain all day every day so we'll probably take off anyway.

I didn't even realize that today is Friday 13th even though I knew yesterday was the 12th (duh). I think I'm still half asleep this morning

Glad the motor home is all fixed and that you enjoy a few days away. Hopefully the rain doesn't ruin your plans. We've had so much rain this spring that it feels like seeing the sun is rare occurrence. I don't know if we had record breaking rain but it certainly seems that it's raining every other day and of course every weekend.

Even in our winters we often have periods without rain, meaning a few days rather than a few hours. Hopefully we'll pick the fine times to go travelling! lol
