Two Days Down

Well, 2 days down for this week and only 2 more to go. I have a paid personal day coming up this Friday.
My husband was booked to put on a training class in Windsor, which is about a 2 hour drive, but this morning that was cancelled.
So, it will be the 2 of us to enjoy the morning with our sweet little twin girls. 
I bought them each a cute little yellow sun dress with a pair of yellow shorts to under it. I brought the dresses over to them yesterday. They both carefully looked at them, and then exclaimed Nanny Nanny, there are pockets in it! Pockets in a 3-year old's dress is a highlight apparently. 
Hopefully they will have them laundered so that I can dress them up in those on Friday morning.
Our son has to have either Grandpa or myself accompany him at 1pm to the doctor's office. The girls have an appointment for an exam and a vaccination. The funny thing is with them, when the first one gets her shot, and cries, the other one begins to cry as if she felt that pain. She is usually finished crying by the time the needle breaks her skin. It is cute to watch.

My dad was in the Army and everytime he was shipped overseas we'd have to get shots and the way the Army did things back in the 1950s was to simply had everyone going overseas get in line for shots, it was mostly the families of the soldiers as the soldiers got theirs in a different location, at least I don't recall dad being there, just mom.

I like the pic. The week is rolling right along. Today is the first full day I have been here since last Weds I guess all sorts of treasures can go in the pockets

I hope their mom gets their outfits washed and dried for Friday morning.
Even with the workmen here, we had a quiet day.

Pockets are a great thing to little ones. That was the favorite part of Adelines robe when I made her one at that age

I agree with your littles, pockets are essential! When you get them all dressed up in them, I will be looking for a picture. And hopefully YOU will be in the picture, too!
Hopefully the doctor visit will go smoothly and they won't cry too hard.

Enjoy your day off with the little ones. I'm sure they will find all kinds of special things to put in their pockets! My week is going so-so. Need to find someone to take care of my weeds; and I need to go to Urgent Care on Friday because of my tooth.
