Growing Too Fast

I had a good visit with her and her mommy today. Told Jessica to bring her boyfriend when she comes out too. No reason for him to stay home. We might as well get to know him too. Especially since my son said he would be visiting me the week after mother's day and hasn't showed up yet. I really don't expect him around Christmas time either.
Adeline did back out of spending the night which didn't surprise me at all. She has not wanted to stay since her daddy got arrested a couple of years ago. I know that was very stressful for her.
I haven't done very much today. I did wash a few dishes while I was cooking dinner. But that has been all besides watering plants and doing critters. I won't do anything this evening as once I take my bath I don't want to get stinky. We are going out for lunch tomorrow and I don't want to take a second shower

Monster is beautiful! 
I've got clothes in the washing machine now and will be putting a load of towels and washcloths in the washing machine next.
I know I did quite a bit this morning but I feel like I haven't done anything all day. I think I'm just tired.

She's getting so grown up! I am glad you got to see her. She'll come around to spending the night again when she gets a ltitle older I'm sure.

She is.
I couldn't agree with him last December when he decided to just move out of state to keep her mom from having visitation. Until then my son had custody. I was thrilled when mom found them and got Adeline.

@wolfgirl569 Yeah, it's discouraging, but some are outright angry and abusive toward their parents. Luckily he is never like that.but their are different degrees and those if it i would put mine in the neglectful category, but he does send computers or tablets when he is in the mood .

@snowy22315 Mine knows I will not back down from him in any way at all. So when he is like this he stays completely away which is fine with me. It saves me using a 2x4 board on him.

Omg I imagine seeing her daddy arrested must have left it's mark.
It's a real shame what kids have to carry around with them for years and years and sometimes for life
But I agree with @jstory07 and I think it will fade from her memoryy over time.

Awe, what a cutie pie she is! And growing up way to fast, for sure! I am so glad you got to see her, even if she isn't quite ready to spend the night. It will happen when she feels comfortable being away from Mom.

She has had a lot of changes the last few months. And that after seeing daddy get arrested a few years ago
