Brisket Pizza / myLot

Oh, this pizza is so good. A friend of mine was over, and we were talking about best places for pizza. I said Casey’s, and their brisket pizza. Who shows up a few hours later with brisket pizza? Yep! And it is so good! Anyone up for some brisket pizza (brisket, BBQ sauce, mozzarella, cheddar cheese, and red onions)?

Oh, what a wonderful treat for you, Amber. I'm glad. It sounds like one of my favorites that I've had at my daughter's--her husband makes the best pizza, and it would be just as you describe yours to be, except the one they make is chicken instead of brisket, and of course we are all mushroom freaks so there is mushrooms. So good, I hope you enjoyed it!

I did, thank you. And the one your son-in-law makes sounds absolutely amazing! Now I’m thinking maybe I’ll try a version of that when the first comes around again.

@AmbiePam When the son is up to it, he loves it when we make homemade pizza here at home. He likes to put the stuff on and grate the cheese, etc. And he does love pizza.

I am sure it's good, topped with spicy meat I like a Turkish pizza, it's called Lahmacun.

@AmbiePam Lahmacun is very good, I made it at home a few times, it's flatter than (Italian) pizza, very tasty.

We normally get the Taco pizza at Casey's but that does sound good!

@AmbiePam It's what Pretty wants every time. If we buy separate pizzas, I get a sausage one and she gets the taco pizza.

@AmbiePam just frozen pizza from the store (diGiorno), but my husband adds extra veggies and cheese to dress it up a little. It's good!

I will have to check out our Casey's. The pizza Bob got at Gambinos was "polynesian". That has ham, pineapple, chopped bell peppers, chopped tomatoes on it. Bob says Gambinos makes the best crust. Sounds like a really good friend to get that for you.

Sounds yummy. May I have some, please? I just ate two slices of Cheddar cheese this morning because I was so hungry. I have to find out if we have brisket pizza here, too. Thanks for the info.

I love all of the ingredients you mentioned, except for the red onions, but I am not sure that I would like them all together on a pizza. I suppose I would need a taste of it to decide.

I wasn’t sure about the red onions either, but they chopped them so fine I can barely see them, and if I’m tasting them I’m not aware of it. They also offered jalapeños, but she told them no.

@ambiepam Pizza is so versatile - you can put anything on it and it’ll taste good. It’s like some people and clothes - anything looks good on them but no-one else can pull it off.
