And so it begins

We went to bed to the sound of fireworks last night. I guess it was the first day they were on sale. Once his hearing aids are out, Bob does not hear them.
We have had enough rain that I guess there is not much of a danger of fire.
This is Sunday and we are off to church.

We've been hearing them since last weekend here. The police won't do anything until after midnight on the 5th of July and then they'll go around telling people they'll get a ticket if they shoot any more of them.
We got two heavy rains yesterday and heavy dew this morning... There shouldn't be anything dry enough to catch fire right now/this year.

Around the old place I lived, the fireworks did not stop all year long. Crazy.

I also hear fireworks while I was reading in bet. I hope you have a good start to the new week.

We have had constant firework booms all week. And before that. It's old and tiring and I hope it pours...the police are running around as they have so many complaints. Last night it was 4 am and I could still hear idiots setting off loud booming fireworks. What a total waste of money. No one enjoys these, they are way too loud.

No fireworks around last night, but I expect next weekend to be full of them.

Just no. I dread the first of July. I will check to see how many pills are in the cupboard for Rufus pup. Both the lights and noise leave him a quivering mess.

Vince misses out on a lot of noises once he takes out his hearing aids.

Yes they started last weekend here. The animals hate the fireworks for sure.
