Today I go to the new dentist to see what's going on with this root canal tooth. I am praying she doesn't have to pull it since it's in the front. I would have to get an implant which takes about 6 months. I am hoping she can fill my other tooth. The filling fell out twice; and it's been open for several months. Not good.
I read some disturbing news about Aspartame in Consumer Reports. Cousin #2, who was a nurse, told me that it was OK that I was having 2 cans of diet pop per day and that it would take a lot more to be dangerous. WELL, CR said that 1/3 to 1/2 of a can per day makes you 13% more likely to get cancer. I'm going to try some pop that has Stevia in it. I tried some quite a while ago; and it was undrinkable. We shall see.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Steak stir fry (This was awful. Full of gristle and fat), rice pilaf, 2 servings of mixed veggies, Mandarin oranges
Dessert/Snack - Lemon blueberry muffin
Dinner - Chicken/Muenster sandwich, chips, ice cream bar
What did you eat yesterday? Any plans for the weekend of the 4th?

Pretty drinks 4 or 5 cans of diet soda every day but won't listen when I try to talk to her about problems with it. *shrug*

That's a lot. The only diet pop I would keep would be my Classic Coke Caffeine Free Diet Soda. I just have to have a Coke once and a while.

Hopefully it doesn't have to be pulled. I have an implant for one of my front teeth...not fun I know.
That's a bummer about the soda thing...I still won't give up my zero sugar pepsi/coke.

I will keep my Coke too. Once and a while, especially with pizza or pasta, I must have a Coke...and that's what I drink when I go out. How long did you have to wait until they put your implant in?

Not that it’ll make you feel better, but they have been saying that about aspartame since it came on the market in the mid-80s. And Stevia. And saccharine. And sucralose. And cyclamates.
I had chicken taco for lunch, blueberry fake sorbet for snack, and a Boca burger and salad for dinner. And yogurt, apples, and fiber!

Really, that's pretty scary! What are they basing this on?Diet soda should come with warning labels if that is true. Of course, I have been drinking it my whole adult life, and haven't gotten cancer yet.

The dentists place a temporary prosthesis, while waiting for a dental implant. I am sure that if the dentist has to pull it that is what the dentist is going to do.
Continue to get your sodas with Aspartame, Stevia has been banned here in Europe, but not Aspartame.

When it comes to root canals, for me, and luckily I have never had to have one, I'd just have the tooth pulled.
For dinner I made pigs in a blanket and tater tots. I thought I was going to have mustard on my dogs, but decided to go with ketchup instead. It was good eats.

Good luck at the dentist Linda
I don't envy you that visit.
I just don't like dentists.
Aspartame, never heard of it so it won't be harming me lol.
Tell me it's not in Coke Zero please.
Wait I will check
Oh it is in Coke Zero
Anyway it says there is a possible link between Aspartame and Cancer,
But I smoke so maybe.I should not worry about this stuff in Coke Zero
