Well, That Cat is Now On My Bad Kitty List

So, I am tired and resting. Our little tux female Whiskers likes to lay at the back of the bottom shelf of the shelf I have next to my bed. She was there and having a bad day. She is one of those that has a weird relationship with her tail and she had been battling it. She knocks items down off that shelf so I went to neaten it up. For some reason she lunged at me and gouged my hand deep with two claws between my thumb and index finger of my right hand.
It hurt so bad, and scared me too. I let out a painful cry and even with three fans directed on him my grandson heard me and came immediately to my aid.
It bled a little and I washed it with a cloth. He put an antibiotic on the gouges and band-aids.
'Li'l Girl' is now exiled from my room for the next while. I understand she was having a hard day, but she had no reason to do that. I have never had a cat scratch me like that. It really surprised me.
My grandson came in and spent some time in my room. He and I have a very special relationship. We are both Scorpios and have a sort of spiritual closeness. When I'm sick I can take his hand in mine and feel positive energy and feel better. He knew I was freaked and a bit upset. He's a sweet fellow.
So, there you have it. Another little adventure in the life of this old witch.

I put a big glob of it on each gouge and band-aids over them both. They are looking much better today.

They are both looking better today. One is still very red, the other looks nearly healed.

Yes, I think so too. She was in a corner and I think she thought I was coming after her when I was just trying to neaten up the things she moved around.

Her tail and I think she felt cornered. I wasn't after her, I was just trying to tidy up the stuff she has moved around.

@celticeagle It's hard sometimes to deal with a cat.

Whiskers needs an attitude adjustment. She can be very fiesty. She is a petite female cat among four bully males.

If only our pets could actually talk, it would be so nice. Something upset the kitty, but of course there is no way to know just what. Glad you are OK.

It sure did hurt. The one went deep. They are healing well though.
