Maybe? Another culinary experiment.

I bought some InnoVasian Crispy Honey Chicken a few weeks ago. It was pretty good, and I might consider it again in the.future. But it didn't knock my socks off.
It doesn't com with rice, just lightly coated (breaded?) chicken and a sauce packet. I can't remember what it cost, but my guess is around seven or eight dollars. I got three meals out of one (frozen) box. I had white rice on the side,
The chicken itself was tasty and good. And the sauce was tangy and satisfying. I would have been OK with some green pepper or onion in there. Even a hit of garlic would have been OK.
To "jazz things up," I had both tangy sauce and blue cheese dressing on the side the last time I cooked this dish up. No,I did not mix them. Either "chutney"was tasty with the chicken.
For the record, I tried both baking and the frying the chicken on separate occasions. Baking was better.
Have you tried any new culinary experiments recently?

No, I haven't experimented with foods in several months. I'm usually tired and just want to get some food in me before I go to sleep.
You should try mixing ketchup and mayo and using that as a sauce for chicken nuggets or dip baked chicken in it as a side. It's really good.

@TheHorseI do not like ketchup.

@TheHorse Will check it out.I should post about my "award winning" Strooffganoff.
---------------Can you talk about your troganoff on MyLot? Well, I guess it would be OK to talk about it but not the effect it has on women.

Yeah, a few days ago I made two new things. Tomato tart I saw on the Food Network and some homemade Boston cream donuts I saw online. Nuggets look good

@TheHorse There are lots of ways to make them. This was with tomatoes and puff pastry.

Three meals for 7-8 dollars is a great deal.

I looked at the orange chicken and thought about buying it; but I still have a lot of my hubby's frozen dinners to eat. No experiments here.

Nothing much but I discovered that the frozen chicken fingers already breaded and ready to cook from Walmart are very tasty I like them best fried in my electric skillet but they can also go in the toaster oven,

Nothing new for me but my son seems to quite enjoy experimenting with his slow cooker.

The only frozen chicken I get is from Trader Joe’s. It’s usually orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, or chicken with shiitake mushrooms. They are pretty good. There are no sides with any of these so I boil some basmati rice, and then boil some frozen mixed veggies (corn, peas, carrots, string beans) that I later cook in a skillet with some butter and mix in with the rice.

OMG!! Baking definitely wins over frying for me too, that's healthier
