Cousin #2 came over and did the usual. She is taking me to my dentist appointment on Thursday. The PowerBall jackpot is up to $815 million. El Salvador has been affected by a screwworm outbreak; and a Maryland resident returning from South America has been infected with the flesh-eating parasite. This is the first human case in the US. The New World screwworm (NWS) is a species of fly that feeds on live tissue. "...the maggots screw themselves into the tissue of animals, causing extensive damage and often leading to death". The risk to people in the US is extremely low; and the Maryland patient has recovered. Breakfast - PB&J sandwich Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken Parmesan patty, spaghetti, spinach, mixed veggies, pears, oatmeal apple bar Dessert/Snack - Triple chocolate muffin (They keep subbing these for other muffins that I order.) Yesterday I had a nice cinnamon and raisin bagel toasted with whipped cream cheese for my lunch. For supper I made homemade hamburger patties, we eat them without buns, and warmed up the last of the hash brown casserole that I made on the weekend.

Thanks for the news update. Breakfast - I fasted as I had a stomachache. Lunch- rice and pork Dinner - rice and fried fish.

I have read this morning of the Maryland resident infected with the flesh eating worm. This is more than scary. I baked salmon for dinner and scalloped potatoes.

Pretty heated up stuff from the freezer for me for breakfast and late lunch. I ate the last three slices of my sausage pizza, some barbecue chips and some banana chips for dessert for supper last night. Pretty went shopping with my brother yesterday evening so we have snacky type foods in the house again.

In a word, ick. More things for them to discover to gross us out and worry us about. If politics weren’t bad enough. I had chicken soft tacos for lunch and chicken & dumplings for dinner. With more of that peach applesauce (wow that stuff is good), strawberry sorbet, fiber bar, and yogurt!

Yep. I won nothing from my last two tickets, but you can bet I will take a stab at that $815 million next. Onward and upward. For dinner I fired up the grill and tossed a marinated pork loin on it and cooked that up and we had French fries and a garden salad on the side. Good eats, hands down.

Well, I was hungry....but not now after hearing about the maggot thing...ew! Why do those things have to happen. Triple chocolate muffin? I wouldn't be mad with the substitution lol That powerball would be so nice to win.... :(
