Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's a blue sky, sunny day here today and the week ahead looks just as beautiful. Since we're heading into a holiday weekend it's nice to see that the weather will cooperate.
When it comes to reading one of my favorite authors is James Patterson. He's co-authored a few books with famous people and the current one I'm reading is The First Gentleman. His co-author is former president Bill Clinton and it's interesting to read a book concentrating on the First Gentleman and the President being a woman. Since Bill Clinton is the co-author and the book concentrates on the first gentleman I just picture him as the main character and of course Hillary as President. Was it written so we readers would think so too? I'm certainly not suggesting that any of the goings-on in the book are true.
I'm so glad I don't have to make any phone calls today. I got the whole tax bill settled yesterday and they are willing to take installments. After 15 years of never being late or missing a payment they were agreeable to make an exception that I missed the payment date for paying in installments. So, I paid the fist installment over the phone and I'm good for the next few months.
All in all, things are good here.
How's things in your little corner of the myLot world?

Me too. It would have been hard to have to pay it all at once.

With all the phone calls you've had to make lately I'm sure you know how great it feels to get positive results. Yes, I'm relieved to get the tax info resolved and not have to pay all that money at once.
Hope your dentist appointment goes well and you like the new dentist.

I don't read books much anymore, it finally dawned on me that many books written today are simply someone else's opinions which does not coincide with my own ,,,,,, I do like to read articles about archeology or anthropology or really ancient history.

That makes sense. I like movies that are mostly Science fiction like star gate gs1 or star trek, those are always very entertaining. I honestly can't read small print anymore so I don't read books

Glad you got the tax bill worked out.
I got turned down for disability again. Apparently, not being able to see isn't a restriction. So we file another appeal. Otherwise, everything is just the same as always.

Good grief that's ridiculous. Guess you have to keep applying and appealing until someone says yes. Don't you have an appointment in Nov?

The book sounds interesting. Better than the one I am reading. I can't get excited about it. Doctor today

I'm glad they're letting you pay in instalments. Sometimes, paying on time for years doesn't mean a thing so it's good they've made an exception.
