We just got some good news

Jane's son, Paul has been dealing with a recurrence of thyroid cancer. His tests he took before heading to the states on a family vacation (they live in Switzerland) seemed serious enough that the doctor messaged him that he had to begin treatment as soon as he got back. Before he had flown home they had given him something in connection with the treatments that was supposed to accelerate the tumor growth. On the 18th, when he got back to Switzerland they scheduled lots of tests, preparing to develop a treatment protocol. The cancer markers are completely gone. He is cancer free. Completely healed. His doctor said that the head cancer doctor had only seen a handful of cases like this in over thirty years of practice. Paul says the prayers we have been offering for him have accomplished what God wanted and that he has been given more time to raise his boys. Their mom fought a different kind of cancer, and eventually died. Sometimes we are healed by being given a longer life, and sometimes we are healed by going home to Heaven. I have known Paul for about forty-two years or so.
