I just had to share Roscoe's happy face. I get to see this everyday and often he simply does the same to Tuffy, his kitty.
I was wondering, are any of you old enough to remember this tune? I love it, it's really beautiful yet I can't understand a word. How about you?

I would say that I was around 10 years of age when the song played on Southern Command Network (SCN) in Panama.

@rebelann Southern Command Network was the only English speaking station in the former Canal Zone for Americans living in Panama.

Roscoe is absolutely adorable.
The tune to the song is familiar, but it's in another language so I can't understand the words. I don't know why it is--I just listened to several songs and they were in English...but I think it's a happy tune.

I will try to listen to it again. I cannot always tell by the music itself.

Roscoe is certainly a cute dog. Tuffy must enjoy their interactions. I remember this song. I haven't heard it in years. Thanks for sharing.

That's awesome. We have a substantial asian community here so some still remember it but back in 1960 there was a large contingent of Japanese troops with their families living on Fort Bliss and our radio stations constantly played this song back then

Roscoe looks so happy. I love that song. My daddy brought me back a jewelry box from Japan that plays that melody.

I like that tune also and I love the sound of Japanese even though I can't understand it.

I was the only one to remember.
